I hated feeling like I was losing my best friend. Tears filled my eyes again and I failed to keep them from escaping. A stray tear rolled down my cheek, his eyes zeroed in and he leaned down until his lips pressed close to my own. His lips kissed the tear before he wiped it away with his thumb. “I’m Levi, the same guy you’ve known since we were both in diapers. Always have been, always will be,” he whispered. “No, you’re Levi, the ass,” I choked.

But as I reach down, my jaw almost drops. It's not Eren. It's an unknown guy around Eren's age with a brown quiff hairstyle who is watching the television with a packet of chips in his hands. I was on the point to faint but then I realise that he is maybe one of Eren's friend. I clear my throat which makes his gaze darts to me rapidly, his emerald-green eyes wide. Nervously, he straightens himself on the sofa and smiles quite guiltily. "Hey." He crunches on a chips.

Levi said absently, his mind already in the game as he tested the fix from the devs. Inspiration for a new marketing campaign struck much later while he was customising one of the main characters in the game. Maybe it was the bright orange hair he'd chosen, the ice-blue eyes or the cold air of arrogance etched on the model's face that reminded him of Liam. "Holy, shit!" Levi whispered as he pulled out his phone and called his friend. He highly doubted the design team had intentionally modelled the character after the former motorsport driver, but who would have known they were sitting on gold all along?

Levi chuckled then pulled away from the hug to stare at her face. “Yes but I still miss you. Am I not allowed to miss you now?" Kiara shrugged. “If you want to. Why did you call me out here?" Levi sighed then shrugged. “I just wanted to see you. I'll leave now, see you later my guardian angel" Before he could turn around Kiara grabbed his hand. She could feel there was something wrong with him. Levi was a cheerful person but right now, he didn't seem so cheerful. “Are you sure you're okay?" Levi smiled so brightly that his cheek began to hurt.

It's been a week since Levi's accident and now he's cleared to go home. Levi still doesn't remember me in any way even though I tried making him remember. I could tell he was uncomfortable with my presence but tolerated it. I know he was suspicious of me but he was trying to trust me. He also got his things back so I'm hoping that maybe there's something in his phone that would help him remember.

Alex laughed. My phone buzzed. I didn’t even need to check the screen. “Hello—?” “Conan!” Levi’s voice was frantic. “Does it make you happy to dress so cute while you’re with that stupid human?! How can you be smiling at him like that?!” I shot Alex a death glare. He was grinning ear to ear. “What the hell are you talking about, Levi?” “Is it going to be me or that stupid human?” he snapped. “Levi, are you seriously asking me to choose? Isn’t it obvious what I want?”

Ace asked Levi. Levi puckered his lips and shook his head. “I don’t believe that I do, she looks and smells like a human.” “What are Clary and her mom doing with a human?” Ace asked another question, running his hand through his hair. “I don’t know,” Levi mumbled, turning his attention back to the chariot and all the people who had gotten down from it.
