Gayle, who had been leaning into my side, snaked her arms around my waist from behind, resting her chin on my shoulder. “Oh, this is going to be good,” she purred, her fingers occasionally brushing against the hard planes of my abs through my shirt. A smile spread across my face. This was easy, comfortable territory. This was me. “Oh, that’s fun!” I leaned forward slightly, warming to the topic. “Let’s see. In Japanese, it’s ‘Aishiteru’ (愛してる).” I pronounced it carefully, with a slight bow of my head. “In Mandarin, ‘Wǒ ài nǐ’ (我爱你).” I articulated the tones distinctly. “French, ‘Je t’aime.’ Spanish, ‘Te amo.’ German, ‘Ich liebe dich.’ Italian, ‘Ti amo.’ Korean, ‘Saranghae.’ Portuguese, ‘Eu t

Gu Mocheng looked at Jian Jianan's sleeping face and was very pleased, but his expression changed ever so slightly when she remembered the phone call he just received… In fact, Gu Mocheng went to Ye Xiao's banquet not just to accompany Gu Lingshan—he wanted to figure out what Ye Xiao was secretly plotting… Translator’s note: [1] It is worth pointing out that the term used here was 撒狗粮, a popular term often used in the web. The phrase translates literally to ‘scattering dog food’, but it is used as a kind of metaphor to describe couples showing their affection publicly. The origin of this phrase lies in two other phrases: 单身狗 (literally ‘single dogs’; used to describe those not in a relations

Is there a continuing book that tells what happened when they went back to Tinuadi City and back to the pharmacuetical company?.. what happened to her father and brother..what happened when mochengs mother found out that he was married to Jianjian

I love this book but the writer just left the ending to the imaginations of the readers. I assume that when Mocheng and Nannan came back, they took care of all the antagonists but it would be better if there's a proper ending.

The room seemed to fade away, leaving only the symphony of their mingling breaths and the warmth of their shared presence. Chai leaned in, his lips a breath away from Mei's, and whispered words of endearment that lingered like sweet melodies in the air. His voice, a soft murmur, carried the weight of his devotion, echoing the depths of his affection for her. Mei's heart swelled, overwhelmed by the tenderness behind his words, as she reveled in the knowledge that she was cherished beyond measure.

Apart from a bruised elbow, nothing seemed off about her appearance. Despite how noisy the air was, standing before her made me feel like no one else was in the room. She finally opened her mouth to speak. “Hmm... Hi Stranger, I'm Wu Lian. I'm called Lian because of my cute face. So my friends call me Lian'er. What are you called?” (Most Chinese youngsters have “'er” added to their personal names. Lian is the Chinese word for face.) I told her. “Hmm... Nice to meet you, Steph. Different race, different beauties!” she declared with a smile that could charm just about any boy.

He replied in fact. "Let me explain. In China, when there is confidence and intimacy between two people, it is widespread to refer to each other as brother or sister. So, to give you an example, you, as my best friend, and being slightly younger than me, could call me jiejie." Claire said, smiling at her friend. "I like that! I'll call you that from now on." Margaret decreed after thinking about it for a moment. "But Claire isn't Shèngli's girlfriend yet, at least not officially." The girl added.

Try to eat and then sleep. A Chinese girl placed the tray on the table and bowed her head respectfully. “Thanks, Ah,” said the supervisor. The girl smiled and left without making a sound. — What did you call the girl?! Diana asked, intrigued. — "Ah". Most servant girls or maids are called "'Ah". It's kind of a title. In Cantonese there is no word for this, the closest term is " Gung-yan " but they find it offensive. "Ah" is a kinder way of referring to them. The supervisor smiled and patted Diana on the arm. - With time you get used to it and you won't find it so strange anymore. I know you'll do well here, I can feel it. Forget Dr. Jonathan. I know him well. This is just a facade.

His eyebrows knitted together as he replied, "I will smile till the camera goes blind while posing for the wedding photos with you. As for now..." He pulled her in his arms and asked seductively, "Wifey, don't you think you should change the way you address me!" Qin Yue understood what he meant and she couldn't help but get her cheeks rosen up.
