When Noah Levine came back, Christmas had already passed. I'd thrown that reindeer lingerie into a street trash bin. "Babe, I left in such a rush last night that I forgot to give you your Christmas present." He pulled out a sapphire necklace and swept my hair aside to fasten it around my neck. Because he leaned in so close, I could clearly see the red marks on his neck and smell the sickly sweet perfume that obviously wasn't his. Knowing the scent belonged to my own sister made my stomach turn.

he winks I cough, I think am starting to turn red tho. His little sister Carol was looking forward to seeing Santa Clause. Eddie went into the woods and cut a cedar tree for a Christmas Tree. Coral was excited Santa was coming soon. Eddie helped Coral decorate the tree. Paper was cut and Mama made glue out of flour and water. The paper was glued together to make interlocking rings. The strand of rings was placed around the Christmas Tree like garland. Eddie helped her cut paper and make snowflakes for the ornaments. It was a simple tree with no lights. In the eyes of Carol, it was the perfect Christmas Tree. Eddie went hunting on the Christmas Eve and killed a deer for Christmas Dinner. Carol cried because he teased her and said it was Rudolph t

Later we would decide if we wanted to buy a house together but for now it was ours. The fact that I now lived with Knox still blew me away. Neither of us thought a year ago that this is where we would be. Happy, in love, and living together. Getting in Knox's truck he reached over and placed his hand on my thigh. I looked over at him and just like a year ago I felt my heart beat faster. I loved this man. I had absolutely no regrets making that ad last Christmas because without it I wouldn't have met the love of my life. And honestly that was the best Christmas present I could have ever gotten. “Would you like to know a Christmas secret? Would you be able to keep it?” Liam gave an enthusiastic nod as he leaned closer to Nicholas. “I can keep a secret! I promise!” “I’m actually Santa’s son. I came here from the North Pole last night. There was an emergency with one of Santa’s sleighs. It looks like it’ll be too foggy on Christmas Eve for Santa to be able to fly his sleigh through the night...” Nicholas brought a hand to his chin, as he ran his fingers through his faux beard. “Do you know anyone who might be able to help fly Santa’s sleigh? On such a foggy night?”

she answered. “Why would you have to work on Christmas day?“ He asked. “Because it's urgent and if I don't go on this journey, I would lose important information on the story I am working on,“ she explained. “What is this story that you are working on?“ "Is this an interrogatory dinner?“ She asked him, slamming her fork down by her plate. “Calm down everyone," Calvin interjected. 'It's Christmas Eve and we are supposed to be enjoying this meal as a family,” he muttered.

I was happy that Damien was here too. I looked at my phone and decided that it was time for me to watch Christmas movies. I always watch the 24 hour marathon of the movie "The Christmas Story." It was my favorite. Wasn't nothing gone keep me off my couch with a bowl of popcorn. I could watch it all day and night. I never got tired of it.

[Christmas] One year later... (Phone ringing) I was in the middle of my sleep when the phone beside me suddenly ring. I took it under my pillow and answer the call without opening my drowsy eyes. "Hello. Christmas speaking, how may I help you?" I started. "Christmas! Don't tell me you are still sleeping?"

Was it ridiculous for her to start thinking she might actually be a part of their family someday? Sending a text back to him thanking him for the pictures, wishing him the best time ever, and reminding him not to run with scissors, she set her phone aside and tried to concentrate on the movie. It was the story of a woman trying to check everything off of her Christmas to-do list before Christmas Eve. A handsome stranger appears and soon he begins to help her celebrate the most magical Christmas she’s ever had. Could that be Melody? Would this Christmas with Reid and Michael be so special she would no longer celebrate Christmas transfixed on her loss and memories from the past?
