With the tiny bit of cash she had left, she couldn't buy anything expensive, but she wanted something special. In the back corner, she found a beautifully illustrated storybook about a little bear who built a sturdy house out of stars to keep her family safe from the cold wind. Next to it was a small, soft plush toy that glowed with a warm, gentle light when squeezed. "This is perfect," she whispered to herself. She took the items to the counter, counting out her bills with a genuine smile. The cashier wrapped them in colorful tissue paper and placed them in a small brown paper bag.

Sean said with a chuckle, making Sienna and Carole burst out laughing. "Fuck off!" I growled as I looked at Sienna once more. "Beautiful," I whispered. Sienna shrugged it off and looked at Mother who handed her a box. It was bigger than anyone else's and wrapped delicately with a bow. "Oh... a bear," Sienna said as she pulled out the pure white teddy bear with a red bow around its neck. "Isn't it cute? It's for the baby." Mother grinned while holding her hands together. "It's cute," Sienna said as she put it back into the box.

- The Bear stood up for his boyfriend, seating him next to him on the sofa. - How are you? I asked, handing Andrei a glass of water. - You don't look very good. - Yeah, don't care, scratches. Bear chuckled. Is that like he's being brave in front of his boyfriend right now? It's obvious that he's had enough of it. - Here. - The bear handed me a bag of herbs, also not thick. Hopefully enough for the potion. - All that was and then had to fight for them. - That should be enough. Chris entered the living room. - Fox, why did you move them here, does he need to see a doctor?

His arms wrapped around it, hugging it tight to his body under the blanket. My eyes roam the room, taking in everything my big bear did for Jamie yesterday. I still can't believe he's ours now! This broken little soul is finally safe and has a family with us now. I smile at the rocking chair sitting in the corner that's full of stuffed animals. My eyes land on the bookcase that's full of children's books. I bite my lip, trying to fight back the tears that want to fill my eyes. I knew my big scary bear was sweet and kind, but this just touched my heart way more than I expected. It blows my mind that he did this for Jamie.

Bloom smiled with content as she stood back to have a look at what she just did to the flower pots. Pleased with herself, she looked to her right and smiled warmly. “Ben…Christmas is on its way…and it’s going to be so lonely without you to join us” Her voice cracked and she sniffled, forcing the tears back. The door came open, distracting her and her lover and their son came in. Mario was seated on his shoulders and his father held his legs to hold him steady.

Curiosity made him speak before he could bite his tongue. "It started after I accidentally found out Orson was a bear. That Christmas, when we were done opening all our gifts, he handed me a present wrapped in polar bears wearing red bows. My mother knew nothing about it. He'd gone and gotten it on his own. Inside was a furry brown onesie. And do you know what he said to me when I pulled it out? That I would always be his cub." A hitch caught her words. "And it's true. He's been the best papa bear to me and my mom. As a reminder, every year, he gets me a new one."

He could not wait to see Carol open her present. Carol opened her present. To her surprise it a Teddy Bear. A brown bear with a black nose. Carol was excited. She hugged the bear. A boy and his bear. Gemma quickly returned to herself and tucked it away in the floor. She slid the board back into place. Her hands still shook the entire time, and she watched the spot, almost expecting the boy to move the floorboard and climb out. She didn’t know what to do. Should she tell someone? Or would that get her in more trouble with Aunt Esme and her parents?
