Reborn As a Haier-Elvian

Reborn As a Haier-Elvian

Although the howl didn't last long, my energy was drained just to endure the deafening sound. My body almost fell to the ground if my brain didn't give me the command to stay alert. I cast my gaze forward. The bear monster had thick white fur similar to a polar bear, it was about three stories tall. The beast had two pairs of arms and two legs, with a fat, flabby body.

His Christmas Mate

His Christmas Mate

_Aria's POV_ I looked at the calendar on the wall. The date looked back at me and my stomach tightened. The dreaded day would come soon. It was the twenty-fourth of December today and the memory still sat fresh in my throat. I could taste it like old blood. I could see the lights and hear the sirens. I remembered what happened three years ago. I remembered everything. I had been looking for scissors to open the Christmas presents when I noticed the black file lying in the corner of the sofa. It did not belong there. The living room was too neat for loose papers. I frowned and set the wrapping aside.

The Billionaire’s Bodyguard

The Billionaire’s Bodyguard

He scrolled through his explore page lazily then stopped when something caught his eyes. 'A bear made out of roses?' It was a white bear made out of roses. He went onto the account hoping he could actually buy the bear. His screen loaded to a bunch of different rose bears, and rose boxes. 'Woah! So you can buy them! I should get one for my mom'

Rejected by the Mate that wanted me

Rejected by the Mate that wanted me

That's when I noticed she didn't have a book, she was telling him a story as she looked off, like she was watching the story unravel in her mind as she spoke out loud. "Once the bear was caught in a net. He thrashed about this way and that until he was exhausted. Then he fell asleep. While he slept a host of little mice began playing all over his great body. Their tiny feet tickled him and he woke with a start. The mice scampered off, all but one that the bear caught under his paw. "Tweek! Tweek!" the frightened little mouse cried. "Let me go! Let me go! Please let me go! If you do I'll reward you some day! I will!"

Sorry, surprised that my comment on Chapter 43 appeared here! I love this story! I haven’t been able to put it down and read up to Chapt 43 in two days! So beautifully written! No soap opera drama—very cleanly written characters who grow over time. I love it!

The love between the hunter and the werewolf

The love between the hunter and the werewolf

It's to give things to a wolf, if that wolf is still alive. After the birdman said "thank you", he stopped talking. The young bear immediately felt a little uninterested, so he decided to choose a clean place under the cliff to wait. The old bear rubbed his face and sighed, he had to sit next to the young bear... There was no other way, although they are bears, there are some instincts that may not obey, but in their bones there is still the desire to crawl and sleep in winter.

Divorced by the Billionaire Who still owns me

Divorced by the Billionaire Who still owns me

They ran to their room and came back with the book about the bear who builds a rocket. We read it together on the couch. I had read the same book so many times I could almost say the words without looking at the pages. Halfway through the story my phone buzzed on the coffee table. I ignored it. My child was watching the pictures closely while I read. When we finished, they leaned against my shoulder. “Mama?” “Yes?” “Do you think bears could really go to space?” “Probably not.” “Why?” “They would need a lot of training.”

75 Days

"Its okay, Carla. They're just trying to stay safe. They don't know if they can trust us yet or not." "Just because they're trying to stay safe doesn't mean you need to move any closer." Bear looks at Ryder again. Before he can speak, Todd interrupts. "What kind of name is 'Bear'?" he asks with a snort. "Watch your attitude," Carla says with a glare that could stop a wild animal in its tracks. "Is it because he's as large as a bear?" I ask, eyeing him with interest. "No, it's because of his cuddly disposition," Carla snaps, eyes narrowing. "He's a real teddy bear," she adds sarcastically. Her beautiful face is turned up in a sneer and it isn't so beautiful anymore.

The Night Before Christmas

The Night Before Christmas

Lowering myself to her level, I held her shoulders gently and brushed a strand of hair from her face. “No,” I said softly. “No, honey. You just had a nightmare. That’s all.” She didn’t look convinced. “Mummy has no reason to hurt Daddy,” I added quickly. “I’ll be back soon. And guess what? We’re spending Christmas here with Grandma and Uncle Elliot.” Her face lit up instantly. “Yeah.” “I’m just going to get a few things for Christmas,” I said. “I’ll be back.” I turned away before she could ask anything else.

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

Selecting a long unopened box from the bottom of the bookshelf with a fond smile, she carried it to the occasional table before the sofa. “This,” she said, reaching inside and drawing out the handsewn teddies she and Lily had played with as children, “is Clarence and Collette Bear.” Across from her, Sarah’s eyes brightened, and Peter slumped. “Bears? Those are stupid.” “Are they?” Leaning the bears against the box, Evelyn began to remove more. “Clarence and Collette are siblings, like you two. They spend a great deal of time on adventures.” Removing a stack of handmade clothes, she laid them out for the children to see. “See here?” She tapped a fireman’s yellow and gray coat, setting the pa

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

Christmas Cove

Christmas Cove

His mother had really been a godsend. After he dressed her in her Christmas pajamas and her dress was properly hung in the closet, he pulled back the blankets on her bed. "Okay, little girl. Time for bed." Abby hopped up into bed. Then Taren tucked her in and sat down on the edge of her bed. "Would you like me to read you The Night Before Christmas?" "You mean, A Visit from St. Nicholas?"
