Lily’s a little too young, but we’re not, so we’re going to watch the magic of one of the best Christmas movies of all time.”

An enormous tree that stood in the middle of the village. All the lights, decorations and ornaments on it were white, except for the giant red star. This was an absolute favorite part of the Christmas tradition. After it was all decorated, all the village’s children gathered in the central square to see the tree all lit up, as well as the manger where Jesus was born. All the mothers brought their children, dressed up in costumes that showed a brief part of the Christmas story. First there were angels, which were from the oldest girl of every family to the youngest boys.

"That's what Christmas is all about, isn't it? The spirit of giving." Kiki nodded as she watched Santa pass out the gifts to the children, one by one. "It sure is." Children squealed with delight as they opened their gifts. At that moment, Kiki didn't want to be anywhere else. She and Evelyn spent the rest of the evening watching the children open gifts until they could hardly hold their eyes open. When the last gift had been passed out, Santa gathered the children around and read A Visit from St. Nicholas, better known as 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. A few minutes later, Abby approached Kiki, her eyes drooping.

I curled up with Chris in his bed as we watched a movie. He’s been worried about me over the past week, which I feel bad about. I hate worrying everyone. Chris surprised me with a home-cooked dinner and a movie; A Journey Back to Christmas, my favorite Christmas movie ever. As the glistening snow falls on the city of Philadelphia, people from all over the city prepare for the most joyous time of year, which most people like to call, Christmas. The one holiday where people would get together with their friends and families to celebrate this momentous occasion. Wherein they could enjoy a cup of cocoa by the fireplace, set up a Christmas tree and fill it with ornaments, drink eggnog with all their friends until they had enough, and most importantly, receive and give gifts. But on this momentous occasion, Conrad decided to do something different this year, along with his friends and family.

Finally, the advice to the kids were, run straight home when you see a stranger, instead of the usual don’t talk to strangers.
