Camila took out that last one, the book was big, it had a red cover with the image of the town itself. But that image was in black and white, as if it was taken years ago.

I gulped down the lump in my throat, as I flipped the book page by page, checking out the images which getting scarier. After flipping like ten of the pages, I stopped abruptly as I sight something. 'History of vampires' was written boldly on one of the pages, and for some unknown reasons, I found myself getting curious about the previous images and the write-ups, and to clear my curiosity, I was forced to check the content of the book.

There, on the cover, was the same image she’d seen on her grandma’s leather box, and in the Voynich manuscript. Only this time the strange face on the front of the book wasn’t so surreal—it was as clear as day. It was an image of Scarlet’s face.
