Return of The Rejected Omega

Return of The Rejected Omega

Say yes. I stared at her. “What’s your price?” “We’ll see.” The Unbound’s camp wasn’t a refuge. It was a carcass. A whale’s skeleton loomed over the snow, its ribs arching like the fingers of a buried god clawing toward the sky. Pelts hung between the bones—wolf, bear, human—flapping in the wind like tattered flags of some deranged kingdom. Inside the hollowed skull, fires burned in pits dug into the ice, their smoke coiling through the whale’s empty eye sockets and staining the air greasy. The stench of blubber and blood clung to everything, sharp and metallic, like a butcher’s knife left to rust.

The Stranger Who Stayed:When Fate Knocks Once

The Stranger Who Stayed:When Fate Knocks Once

The January city had become the February city outside and the library was behind its hoarding and the bones were going up and the invisible preparation was happening in every direction simultaneously, the buds on every branch, the decisions made below the surface before anyone could see the becoming. Trust February. End of Chapter One Hundred and Seventeen

The Ninth Cipher

The Ninth Cipher

A distant bell suddenly rang. Once. The endless pages overhead froze in midair. Then... every page turned toward the same direction. Something enormous was approaching. The ground trembled beneath Adrian's feet. Not with fear. With recognition. Far ahead... a city slowly emerged from the darkness. Its towers were built from giant books. Its bridges were woven from glowing sentences. Its rivers flowed with liquid silver ink. Above its gates, carved into black stone, were four ancient words. THE CITY OF FORGOTTEN AUTHORS.

bride of vengeance

bride of vengeance

The City of Bones. I'd heard the name only once before, years ago, back when I still believed the world ended at the edge of the palace gardens. A traveler had passed through in winter, drunk on cheap wine and colder nights, and he'd sat by the kitchen fire telling stories to anyone who'd listen. Most of what he said had been forgotten by morning — travelers always exaggerated, everyone knew that. But one story had stayed with me. A city swallowed by the earth, he'd said, voice low, eyes darting toward the shadows like even speaking the name might summon something. A city cursed by gods who no longer had names anyone remembered. A city nobody who entered ever returned from.

Luna’s Rebellion

Luna’s Rebellion

ELARA Falling again. Always falling. Except this time, there’s no void to catch us, no glass bridge to stand on. Just impact. Stone greets me like an enemy. My ribs scream. My vision erupts in white and black stars. When I drag in a breath, it tastes like ash. Like bone dust. And then I see it. The city. Not from above this time—but all around me. Towering spires like ribs of a dead god, shattered bridges arching over gulfs of nothing. The streets writhe—not with people, but with whispers, pooling in the cracks like liquid shadow.

In the Darkness of City Blocks

In the Darkness of City Blocks

suspiciously at Conrod. Conrod looked down in embarrassment. He stood for a couple of seconds and, unable to bear the ridiculous situation, headed away from this place. The black surface of the polished boots was already covered with a thin layer of dust, it was getting hotter outside. Conrod strolls slowly through the cozy streets of the old part of the city, if you do not go too deep into the slums, this is a very nice place with good architecture. A painfully familiar ringing tone sounds, Conrod picks up his cell phone. The black surface of the polished boots was already covered with a thin layer of dust, it was getting hotter outside. The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Caspian took a step forward and slashed at the General of Bones with his sword. At this instant, the heavens and the earth fell into silence. Bang! When the silence was over, there were countless roaring and surging! Roar! The General of Bones was injured, and many of his bones had been smashed by Caspian, but he didn't break into pieces because of it. All of this was because the tomb of bones that could be used as the foundation of the Divine Bone Dock naturally contained an extremely large amount of Immortal Energy. Even though many years had passed and many of them had been consumed, there were still quite a few of them.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

BLOOD CITY: Vivienda de Vampiros

BLOOD CITY: Vivienda de Vampiros

Upon asking him why he thought a locked book would help them find Varcolac, he still picked another book from the shelf for her. This time, this one had a name on it and it was not locked unlike the big ancient one. The book had ‘Lunar de sangre’ as the title, meaning ‘Blood moon’. He opened the last pages of the book. In one of the pages was a snapshot of the maze on the big book’s covers. The following page was written ‘Varcolac y la lunar de sangre’ in huge bold numbers meaning ‘Varcolac and the Blood moon’. Too bad for them, the pages after this were torn off. Nothing they could get beyond the names and the maze.

The Almighty Dragon General

The Almighty Dragon General

Why did they suddenly turn into skeletons? He looked at the remaining two skeletons. He no longer sensed any power fluctuations nor vitality from them. “What’s going on?” James frowned. At that moment, a breeze blew toward him. The remaining two skeletons fell apart and turned into dust, scattering on the ground. James was the only one left in the vast city. It was tranquil. Nothing could be heard in the city, and the unearthly silence was terrifying. At that moment, James suddenly recalled the city's name—Silent City of Death.

This end is terrible. I strongly believe there is a volume 2 or part 2. I refuse to be left hanging and thinking of a million ways the whole thing played out. Patiently waiting for volume 2............

Light & Darkness: Book 1

Light & Darkness: Book 1

For now, she didn't even want to wonder what would happen if aunt Margareth finds out about her feelings. Selene stretched first, then slowly dragged herself off the bed, her eyes immediately fixed on the Book of Magic that was lying down on the desk, the one she had gotten from aunt Meredith yesterday. Selene took it gently in her hands and sat on the edge of the bed, setting the bulky volume on her lap, and flipped through the book several times. Afer the fourth time she stopped at a page that showed a portrait of a man with ebony, half-length hair, in a long black coat... The face itself seemed familiar at once, but when Selene saw his eyes - dark and captivating like two black holes, she
