She desperately wanted to be in that fire. As Blake grabbed Clarissa off the flames, Righ reared forward. The room suddenly darkened. Shadows reached for monks. They froze in place as King Righ’s eyes flashed red.

After everything that’s happened, I’m ready to attack. I open the door before he steps foot on the porch and I yell. “Who the hell are you?” Standing this close to him, he looked familiar—something about his aura—but I know I've never met him before. “Hi. You must be Clara,” he said calmly. “I’m Rod. I’m a friend of Ben’s. Maybe he’s mentioned me?” I’ve never met Rod and this could be anyone. “How do I know you’re him and not someone trying to lure me outside of the crystal boundaries?” I said.
