I raise brows, giving Elijah a questioning look.
He shrugs, “I don’t know. Put them under the full moon, then sprinkle them with herbs and chant.”
“Actually, it’s a waning moon tonight. Best is to cleanse them with blessed moon water, burn a few herbs—not sprinkle—then, a suiting chant will do,” she explains.
It looks like it takes everything out of Elijah not to roll his eyes.
“But what about tonight?” I ask, crossing my arms. “What if she lashes out on me again?”
