Cleansing Witchcraft Novels & Stories

I know I was. I didn't have time to try to talk to Mom because the last of the witches stepped within their assigned section of the pentagram. She closed the circle. "My friends, my family, my coven," she took two steps forward toward the center, her voice carrying to every person there. "We have come here tonight, on Samhain eve, to cleanse ourselves of the evil power that attacked us and tried to weaken us with its negative magic."

As time went on, the people began returning to their senses. They shivered as they looked around them blindly, getting a terrible fright at the gory sight around them. The expressions of the people who had already begun to evolve creased with agony. They collapsed to the ground as they cried out, jerking around wildly until all the life drained out of them and they were reduced to a pile of rotting, putrid flesh. Wilbur let out a long breath. His face was pale as a sheet as if he had just run a marathon. The Soul Cleanse was a spell only meant to be cast on a single person, but Wilbur had used his powers of belief to expand it to a group spell. This had also drained all the power of faith he

My answer seemed to deflate the mood in the room, including my own. “As you wish,” The King states, “, just know that your contribution today will mean the lifting of the Witch ban and execution scheme, and the position, should you ever wish to accept it, is available to you.” It was a great feeling to know that Witches didn’t have to hide anymore, that their magic, as long as it was used for good, could be used once again. The King and Alec go to exit the doors outside to join the loud celebration, just as Laucian steps in front of us.

Destiny works in strange ways, the witches and the wolves have been enemies for a long time, neither cross each other's boundaries and it is highly forbidden to ever mate with each other. Over the years, witches have been mated to wolves, but once the council finds out, they cast a spell to sever the bond immediately. The spell works, but the victim's life changes completely and he or she becomes an outcast, the spell also weakens his or her original powers causing such a person to become weak.

“Okay, Kemira, we are going to cast a spell so that we can find who initially marked you. Then, from there, we will do a counter spell to cleanse you of the evils that try and get you.” I nod, feeling a little apprehensive about this. Not that I don’t trust Queen Delilah, but that this cloud is on me, and I really want it gone. I want to believe they are capable of cleansing me. They begin to stand and chant in some weird language. I sit in the middle of the room in a wooden chair. They take hands and rock side to side. They continue to chant as they release hands. Then all the ladies place one hand on my shoulders, and I begin to feel a tingle. Like when your foot falls asleep and it's waki

Mum wasn't the kind to go back on her words. If I was going to get rid of the bracelet, someone else had to help. “Well, if one person couldn't help me get it off, what about asking for the help of other witches, surely if they are in numbers they could pull it off.” “I strongly doubt that, witches have a code and many rules, no sorcerer will agree to cast such a spell, even if we could find one strong enough.” Another dead end, I wondered.

"You won't keep a single drop of my blood." I walked over to the cabinet where I kept the illegal alchemical tinctures. My fingers, slick with blood, fumbled with the glass vials. I found the one I was looking for—the "Cleansing Draught." It wasn't meant to kill a wolf, but it was designed to "reset" a lineage, to strip a female of any "tainted" connection. If I could lure them to the altar... if I could get close enough to Darlene...

I immediately read the ingredients and tried to familiarize the steps myself. “At exactly midnight, put the ingredients together in a pot. Should be in order according to the list. The heat should come from the trunk of a fifty-year-old oak tree. Simmer while reading the enchantment until the color fades. It should be as clear as water. Cool down before serving.” The procedure seemed easy but the power it carries could alter someone’s fate. By then, I decided to risk my life and become a real witch. -- My farewell including my reasons of taking this path was written in a piece of cloth. I used charcoal as my ink and my handkerchief as my paper. After I put the letter on the table, I held on

I stopped for a while to put my thoughts in words but he had already understood my intentions as he said "You want the sacred potion to remove all your traces and so that not even your scent will be left behind." "Yes" I replied timidly knowing how difficult that task would be. He roared from the other end "You dare ask me do it, I will be killed by the master and you know it how rare that possession is if they find out you were here and instead of bringing you to them, I helped you escape, they will kill me." I listened to him then said softly "Alright, the other one would do to, I just want to remove my scent temporarily and I promise I won't let anyone find out just do that for me."

“Fresh rosemary, sage, and lavender. These will help with the purification and protection.” She places them in the mortar and crushes them using the pestle. She takes out a small brown bottle. “This is Lemon Oil imbued with magical energy. This will help cleanse your mind and prepare your life core.” She pours five drops into the mortar and pours the rest into the bathtub. I just stare at what she’s doing in curiosity. I haven’t seen a witch in action before. “You remind me of Leila,” Zinnia says and chuckles. “You both stare so openly when you’re curious about something.”
