The chemistry between me and Xavier was insane, making me go nuts. I shook my head and took a good look at his house. I noticed the living room, painted white with pictures of Xavier and Hannah all over the walls. The kitchen was adjoining the living room and to the left of the kitchen, there was a small dining table with plates set out for two people along with a bottle of red wine. To the opposite of the kitchen, there were two bedrooms close to each other and on the door of one of the rooms, there was a cute little picture of Olaf from frozen which made me chuckle. "That's Hannah's room," he spoke as if he read my mind and I turned around to face him.

Blood darkens the dirt beneath it. Two civilians, a man and a woman, are pressed against the bank like they’re trying to melt into the earth. The man’s hands are up. The woman is shaking so hard her teeth rattle. A bolt thunks into the ground near Chaos’s hoof. Silver-tipped. Chaos jerks back, snorting, but he doesn’t bolt. I don’t duck. I smile. “All right,” I call out, voice carrying, casual as a tavern brawl. “That’s your one free shot. Now come out so I can kill you properly.”

But her beauty still shone and her curves were affecting him. “Put a knife in me Sacha, I cannot bear this.” Was it his intensions that were making him overheat or was it the wounds.
