Tomorrow is the day we have all been waiting for. The big day of my life. My birthday. My fate will be decided. Maybe I will become useful or useless to them. There is no telling what would happen. I just happened to hear some scary stories about some lycans in the past who could not even get their abilities as they turned twenty one. I made three whole packs wait for me to become that age. It would be such a shame if I can't keep my promise. Still, I don't know if I am anxious or happy. The whole thing is giving me goosebumps.

*yuck* I know a lot of the girls have suffered the same things at the hands of the same boys, and we always silently rejoiced when someone was adopted out, or aged out. When you turn 19, you aged out, and sadly must leave. I am almost there excited to age out, and terrified at the same time. I have no where to go. But I will start this new chapter with a smile on my face and my head held high as I survived my time at the orphanage! Only because of my special spot, and animal friend.

Nope, I don't like celebrating birthdays, I find it childish " I lied

The butterflies in her stomach are disturbing, it felt like the time she is having them. "I love it when you pretend to be coy"he confessed . She was about to talk when he continued. " I want us to visit my croft today. It is not that far from here so we will use bikes . " He informed her. He got the croft as a gift from his father when he was getting hitched. And now he wants to share a moment with her there . "Oh My God"She exclaimed. Hussain has been surprising her with different things since they arrived. "You have a croft? As in a croft farm "She questioned. "Yes"He replied smiling , playing with her hair as she watched through the window.

Luna Rosaline would make sure everyone was celebrated in one way or another, even if their parents didn’t have money for a big party. She even provided group parties in the gardens for the Omegas who came of age. Since I was shifting by the age of five, I didn’t get to experience these things.

Some were so old they were little more than hollow, insect-eaten fragments. Grandma was the village chief, ruling over everything without challenge. No one dared to defy her. The conversation till that moment had been general and nothing personal on both our parts. “A few weeks,” I said. I was keeping it safe and vague. “And how old are you, don’t say a few years,” he joked catching on. “I’m eighteen,” I answered with a smile. “What about you?” “Twenty,” he answered. “What are you doing here?” I didn’t like where his questions were leading to, “I’m a run away,” I gave him the story the rest of the town knew. And oddly enough, it wasn’t quite far from the truth.

he said suddenly, leaning forward, “why don’t you tell me about yourself? You seem like a bright young man.” I nodded politely, keeping my expression humble. “There’s not much to say. I didn’t grow up with much… I learned early how to survive. As an orphan who never knew his parents. I lived with my grandmother until she passed. After that, I was sent to an orphanage where… things weren’t easy.” I paused, letting my voice drop slightly. “At twelve, I was adopted. But it felt like jumping from the frying pan into the fire. I stayed with my adopted parents until I turned eighteen. That’s what shaped me into who I am today.”
