He was young, with sharp blue eyes and an easy smile that instantly put me on edge. "Well, well," he said, smirking. "Looks like we’ve got a warrior here. That’s a nasty burn. What happened?" "Accident," I muttered, not in the mood to explain curses and psychotic witches. He raised an eyebrow, clearly not buying it, but didn't push. "I’m Logan, by the way. Let’s see what we’re dealing with." As he examined my arm, I felt my mates shift uneasily behind me. Kane’s glare could have melted steel. Zane crossed his arms, his stance tense. Dane was the calmest, but I could feel his protective energy radiating off him.
