Mark said, beginning to move away. I started to walk back to the suite. “Logan,” I called. I was sure Logan knew what to do. I heard deep snarls and a loud thud. I heard Mark’s screams, bones breaking, and the squishing sounds of blood, but I didn’t look back. Better to let Logan enjoy his snack. I knew what Logan and Mirabel were, but I didn’t know how they managed to keep their covers and suppress the beasts inside them successfully. Logan was very loyal and trustworthy. He had done and was still doing everything to earn my trust. Though he was aggressive and lethal at times, he was my biggest weapon and invaluable in mafia showdowns due to his special abilities.

Dregen’s P.O.V “Hey, Dregen. I heard that there’s a new shipment of blood vessels at this auction. What do you think of buying one for yourself, huh?” Logan asked with a mischievous smile whilst driving. Logan was my very good friend and also my work colleague. A notorious playboy, he was known to be a silver-tongued fox amongst the ladies. “No. We are only going to the auction to buy a gift for Lora. Nothing else.”

*LYDIA'S POV* "Turn on the light and let's behold the betrayers face." I ordered and the lights came on. I rolled the 9mm around my fingers as the face of the bloody man raise up unbalanced. Logan glanced at my before walking towards the guy. "You don't look familiar to me? Do you know me?" He asked, the bloody guy spat on him return and I clicked my tongue against my uppercase in pity. "What I put on can sponsor you for a decade, man." His voice dropped two shades and I shook my head in pity at the guy.

Rachel had got in on the other side of her but she barely noticed at this point. Trisha couldn't tear her gaze away from the jagged gashes. that marred his handsome face. Could he even be a model? There was no doubt in her mind that at the very least he'd have a hideous set of scars. "I don't care what my face looks like," Logan grunted as he forced a smile her way. "All that matters, is you're okay." He leaned to the side and his smile flickered as he winced. "Lauren, what did the pack say?" he demanded.

What Hannah had just said had left me deep in my intrusive thoughts and I let them take over. Logan doesn’t have a right eye? This explains why his hair always falls in front of his right eye and covers it. What has he done in the past that cost him his eye? Has he been in a fight with a fierce king? Or worse. But now someone else took her place, a guy, to be more specific, looking about the same age as Logan’s and same height, only he was thinner than Logan. “But why don’t you tell us already who they are!” He demanded with his arms crossed, taking a step towards us. Logan’s body suddenly tensed at the guy’s sudden movement and moved closer to me, gripping my arm a little firmer but not enough to hurt me and slowly dragged me behind him, seemingly somehow trying to shield me from the guy.

I’d convince him overnight that killing the Luna and the beta’s wife was a really cruel move, and he had decided to go share his condolences with them. That was why I’m sat alone inside the big vehicle he came in, something I overheard one of the pack members called a limousine as they gossiped about my departure.
