I still have a quest to complete before I rest in the bosom of the Lord. I need to save a lot of people from evil hands. But for now, I can't disclose everything to you." Ruby tried explaining-but with the way things were, nick looked totally confused.

I never heard of any of that. I just lost Elon. And what I was feeling right now is not a joke. I’m dying inside. I know I lost my mate. I know Elon is my mate. Why will I be confuse? Then naturally— Like always— He started talking nonstop. “Mommy?” “Hm?” “Can I ask something?” I looked down at him suspiciously. “That sentence already sounds dangerous.” He giggled softly. “Do adults get confused?” I blinked. “Yes.” “All the time?” “Yes.” He frowned thoughtfully. “That sounds stressful.” I laughed quietly. “It is.” He remained silent briefly before looking up at me again. “Are you confused now?” The question caught me off guard immediately.

He asked, Ava looked at him like he asked a strange question, “you're Damien, Adrain's uncle” Damien paused, “That all?” He asked “Is there something else?”she asked, which he was quiet for a moment "Does anything feel wrong to you?" he asked. She opened her mouth, “huh?” He continued before she could answer. "Doesn't things look foggy to you, like there are parts of things that don't connect properly.” Ava was quiet not because she couldn't answer but because she could relate to the fact that a lot of things were confusing but she choose not to look at a specific part so that she'd not get more confusing.
