He moves around the apartment like he owns it, opening my fridge and frowning dramatically.
“Holly, what is this?” he groans. “You have nothing in here.”
“I wasn’t hungry.”
“That’s not an excuse,” he replies.
He pulls out a bottle of water, stares at it, then turns back to me with narrowed eyes.
“You’ve been living off water and sadness, haven’t you?”
“That is not a real meal plan,” he adds dramatically.
I snort despite myself.
An hour later, my kitchen smells like actual food.
