Where Zombies Walk (Book 1 Kendra's Journey)

“I suppose I can rustle up enough life into these bones to go out in your stead now and then.” Kendra scowled. “You’ll do no such thing. What are you cooking in that pot?” “Turnip and carrot soup,” Olga said with a smile. “I’ll add a nice bone to it now.” “With some meat, please,” Kendra said as she headed out to skin the cat. “I’ll get you a bone with some meat on it. Then, I’ll cut the rest to dry out and store.” “I got the cooler working,” Olga said with pride.

The Billionaire's Stripper Bride

The Billionaire's Stripper Bride

I got off the stool and brought myself next to her side. "Adobo. This is the easiest to cook out of all the dishes on tonight's menu. You only need a few things," she said, and then with a wooden spoon in her hand, a freaking wooden, not even a spatula. She tossed the chopped garlic straight into the pan and started to sautee it then the onion followed and once the garlic was a bit golden brown and the onion was translucent, she tossed in the chicken too, drumstick, and thighs.

"They really are, Only if i could live as one ordinary person, I wouldn't have become the princess Blair of Crukooland, maybe i wouldn't have suffered this badly." Evari said, "Ohh.. You Watched Me Break, Now Watch Me Rise

You Watched Me Break, Now Watch Me Rise

Meanwhile, James sat on the living room couch and watched in amusement as Beverly bustled about behind the sliding door of the kitchen. She tossed the oxtails into the pot—blood, scum, and all. She also fumbled and dropped a few stalks of celery and carrots into the sink. About an hour later, the stew was done. "Stew's ready!" Beverly announced, her face glistening with sweat and her hair mussed up. She stared at James expectantly. James pressed a hand to his forehead, rubbing his temple as a bitter smile curved his lips. He sat down at the dining table and watched her scoop some stew into a bowl.

The Tyrant alpha

The Tyrant alpha

He takes the direct route this time. When he returns to the fire, others have gathered and formed something of an assembly line. It looks like they’re making a stew. Besides the potatoes and carrots, they’re chopping onions, mushrooms, parsnips, and some kind of green herb, maybe parsley. They fill one huge cast iron cauldron after another and hang them on tripods set about the fire. The wind is too brisk this high, and it’s blowing the wrong way, so I can’t smell the cooking, but my wolf’s stomach grumbles anyway.

My Luna? Never!

My Luna? Never!

Rich creamy smooth and firm from the butter and milk that had been beaten into it to add to its flavor and smooth texture. Then the bowl was full of oxtail stew. Its rich dark brown color was set off by the white bowl it was in. The gravy was thick and rich. I could smell the aroma of beef, garlic, and herbs and spices drifting up from it into my nose. I can not wait for the food to get cold. My mouth watered in anticipation to now, I took the silver spoon and dipped it into the bowl of potato. It smoothly penetrated the firm fluffy white mound. I lifted the spoon and turned it over on my plate depositing a mound of potato. I repeated this 3 times. Then using another spoon, I scooped up spin

Sorry, It Was My Fault

Sorry, It Was My Fault

Michaela’s eyes lit up when she saw her food. The chef had prepared a fillet of kingklip stuffed with smoked salmon served with sweet potato puree and sautéed spinach. It looked mouth-watering. Then the chef put the food in front of Storm. The Sirloin Steak was lying lazily on the butternut puree served with veggies. Her mother-in-law was enjoying the oxtail served on the bone with rice. The food was lips-smacking. Her mother was beaming with joy when she was eating the slow roasted lamb shank with mashed potato and veggies. Aunt Stella’s Beef T-bone was grilled to perfection served with veggies. The food was beyond delicious.

This is a good read thus far. Although there are multiple characters' stories in it, the author has connected them moderately well. Glad to read a clean story with enough drama that is not rival. You won't regret reading this one. Hooked

Thorne was awful to his wife but Storm and Michaela’s love story is so sweet and refreshing. It’s hard to find a story on this app where there isn’t constant cheating, humiliation and abuse directed towards the female lead. Thank you for your stories.
