Turquoise water surrounded me, blinding and endless. A school of tiny orange fish darted past, pecking at invisible crumbs, brushing against my arms like pests. I growled, batting them away. Further down, I caught sight of a coral reef. Colors flared in red, purple, green, jagged and beautiful, swaying with the tide. No Manolya. No white dress, no pale skin breaking through the blue. Only shadows shifting, mocking me. I dove deeper. The sea floor came into view, sand rippling with the pull of the ocean.

Sleek silver groupers glided by, their scales flashing like mirrors, while vibrant parrotfish in electric blues and yellows nibbled at the coral. A school of damselfish swirled around us, tiny black-and-white stripes flickering like confetti. The reef below was beautiful: brain coral in twisted, fleshy mounds, fan corals waving like underwater palms, and anemones blooming in pinks and oranges, their tentacles swaying in the gentle current. Sea urchins clung to rocks, spiky sentinels, and a curious octopus peeked from a crevice, its skin shifting from mottled brown to a startling red as we passed.

He waved at me, impatient. I took a deep breath, adjusted my mask, and plunged into the water. Coolness enveloped me instantly, like slipping into another world. I steadied my breathing through the snorkel, kicking gently with my fins, letting my body float effortlessly. Sunlight pierced the water, casting shimmering patterns across the white sand below. Tiny fish swam in schools—blue, yellow, even bright orange—dancing among the corals. Some corals were soft pastels with smooth curves, others were rigid and rough with sharp textures. Sea anemones swayed, occasionally revealing little clownfish hiding within their tendrils.

With these two merpeople, Philip sneaked into the aquarium from earlier, which was closed at this time. When looking over them, Philip found scars on the boy. They were densely packed like vines all over his body. Some had been scabbed over, while others were inflamed and festering. After putting some medicine on him, Philip brought the mermaid to the aquarium. The ocean beasts cheered up when they saw the mermaid’s arrival. The seawater in the small fish tank was stinking up. Philip carried the mermaid and applied some medicine where her scales fell off. He put her into the big fish tank for the time being.

"We need them gone." She nods in understanding. "Gails and Devon are coming with Travis and this," She pauses and flashes me a devilish smile, "is Radiance." Damn, she noticed the way I looked at her. Radiance is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Her hair is long and flowing; a fierce color of orange/red. Her tail matches her hair perfectly. A bright orange tail with the tips of her fins are a beautiful ruby red. She has big, round, emerald green eyes surrounded by thick eye lashes. She shyly smiles a small smile to me and then darts her eyes down. Clearly humbled to be in my presence. "Thank you for assisting us today Radiance. I apologize for it being so early in the morning." I respectfull

Pearl was smiling and I just noticed that Cayden had already followed me and those who were with us except Gen and Alice were clustered swimming a little far away from us. We are all swimming in different styles. My long hair also goes with my movements. The loser still rejoiced hahaha.
