Another fun fact, when mer-people who have siren blood running in them and have loved ones that in one way or another are threatened or they just get really, really mad their eyes turn black with bright red specs. Two of their teeth extend as well as their nails and some mer-people even have their hair change color to black momentarily. That makes people mistake us as vampires sometimes because they have a similar appearance.
