I Crashed His Empire With a Marriage Certificate

I Crashed His Empire With a Marriage Certificate

I grew up fatherless, clawing my way through the Chicago underbelly with my mom. She always said he loved us. That he just had to go far, far away. Until she got terminally ill. I dropped out of design school and rushed back, ready to drain our life savings to treat her. But she put a pair of scissors to her own throat. She told me not to touch the cash. It was the only thing she had to leave me. I pretended to agree. But the second I turned around, I took our fifty grand and ran to Mr. Sal, the neighborhood's back-alley doctor. I begged him to save her. "Fifty grand? This buys her three months. Tops." He lit a cigarette. Through the smoke, his eyes bored into me. Like he was looking at a gh

Into the Fiction

Into the Fiction

Broke reader, right you could say that. They're my inspiration, motivation and also distraction. I'm an orphan with no one to take care of me, I wasn't that confident in myself. “ Today's red moon. Did you hear that our wishes will come true if we make a wish?” I heard some of my colleagues squealing happily and I just rolled my eyes. Nonsense. Who would believe those kind of words these days? How stupid. I shook my head to get rid of those silly thoughts of my fellow colleagues. Wishes come true? What a bullshit!

Shattered Hearts

Shattered Hearts

My cloud was broken when a strong, smooth voice commanded, "Stop!" My eyes flit open and my heart stutters. My God, did I mess up? London stares at the both of us, an unreadable expression on his face. I messed up, didn't I? "What's the matter?" Jackie sasses, a brow raised in his direction. "I don't need to hear anymore," he replied with a shrug, "You both made the cut." "That means?" I ask unsurely, narrowing my eyes. It means you're both in," he answered with a small smile, "Welcome to Crash Course Rebellion."

Queen of Supernatural

Queen of Supernatural

Damian moved to my right, every inch of him prepared to tear reality apart if needed. And me? I stepped forward. One more inch. Another breath. Then I pressed my palm against the shimmering fracture. A ripple of light spread out from the point of contact. The crack widened soundlessly, swallowing the air in a rush of color and cold and unfiltered possibility. For a heartbeat, I saw something through it—eyes too old and too young, watching me with a mix of hope and terror. Then everything shattered into blinding white, and the world fell away. We were pulled into the crack, into the realm behind it—

His Hunger, My Curse

His Hunger, My Curse

The burning city flashed again—closer this time. The temple crumbled before her eyes. And for the first time, the figure’s expression shifted. "You cannot unmake what is already broken." A chill ran down her spine. Cassian stepped forward. "Then what do we do?" The figure studied them for a long moment. Then, he whispered, "You run." And the world collapsed. The Descent Into Chaos Lena’s body lurched downward. She fell—through the void, through the endless dark—until suddenly, her body hit solid ground.

Hiding The Alpha’s Son: My Ex

Hiding The Alpha’s Son: My Ex

But I ruined it. Again. And now I’m here. Alone. In my damn office. Drenched in moonlight and whiskey fumes. Surrounded by broken bottles and broken promises. Another crash. The crystal shatters against the wall, amber liquid dripping like blood down the paint. I don’t even flinch. My body’s still buzzing from her. My head’s still filled with the sound of her breath, her whimpers, the way she said my name like she hated herself for wanting it.

Demon: Supernatural Bad Boys V

Demon: Supernatural Bad Boys V

I cringe at the way they open their mouths and close them with ravenous hunger. I’m about to respond when suddenly the floor begins to tremble beneath us. Azazel and I gaze into each other’s eyes, trying to regain our balance as the trembling heightens to a roar, and the wall begins to crumble and crack. Turning to Sahara, I see that she’s as surprised as we are. “Hold on!” Azazel yells out as the floorboards begin to break beneath us. I watch in horror as the revenants begin to fall and slide across the floor, scratching and growling as they try to gain purchase. Azazel and I cling to each other, trying to maintain our footing, but it’s hopeless., Pieces of the ceiling begin to fall and cru

Slowly reading through the series and this has to be one of my favourites so far! Such a great book, the story is engaging and well written, I love that it introduces less written about supernatural species, it just adds to the story. Thoroughly enjoyed it and totally recommend this book!

Forbidden Fantasies

Forbidden Fantasies

How can we put an end to this if we don’t stay away from each other? We were not in any kind of relationship, but when I write my diary entry that night, it feels like I’ve been jilted. I strike through the whole entry, determined not to let him mar my sexy fantasies. Just because I stopped acting on these fantasies doesn’t mean I can’t write them. This time, I’m writing from experience. When Rhys touches me in my fantasies, I feel his touch as though it were real, the scent of his skin when he embraces me so unadulterated that the lines between imagination and reality start to blur.
