The longer we wait, the more likely someone will suspect something.” She paused, pretending to think it over, though she’d planned every detail of this moment. “To get past the army camp’s security, we’ll need to create a distraction—a big one.” Bjorn frowned, his hands flexing as he processed her words. “What kind of distraction?” he asked, the impatience clear in his voice. “And how do we make sure it works?”

I needed a plan to distract them and get inside. I paused and thought hard. I remembered that the guards often chatted about small, everyday things to pass the time. I decided to use that to my advantage. Quietly, I retreated a few steps to look for something that could create a small distraction—a noise, a dropped item, anything that would catch their attention. My heart pounded as I planned how to lure them away from the door, so I could slip into the room unnoticed.
