Shadowed Creatures

Shadowed Creatures

Enough for her to be able to work in the underworld, but not enough for her to ever be accepted as one of us. "Hélène?" I called out into the small but neat room. Despite the size of the servants quarters here, she had made the space feel surprising homely. A small sofa sat in the middle of one wall, a nest of tables beside it with a pretty crocheted doyley placed on top of it. A coffee table sat in the middle of the room, a vase filled with dried flowers. Fresh flowers was not something easily found in the underworld, mainly due to lack of sunshine to grow them, and dislike for humans to ever want to surface to obtain them.

Haunted

Manogyna Marthimaidmary horrorhell
"I will kill all the members of your family if you do not offer yourself to me. I will bring you to the situation when you will intentionally come to me and plead to save your family members by offering yourself to me." Amara walked helpless towards the haunted mansion. She felt numb and lifeless for the happenings around her. The words of the sage begin to ring in her ears. "It will be the dark night without the moon, the onset of heavy storm and the shrill howls of dogs. There will be an unfathomable clamor present in the atmosphere, the unwelcoming cries of the eagles and the uproar of tumult yowls from everywhere around will be the indication to alert you it was the one and only day in y

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

Twice he crossed paths with Bain, but his friend had learned nothing, either. With less than an hour of darkness left, he headed for the cemetery that was the rumored source of the zombies. The graveyard was well-guarded, telling him the rumors were probably true. He remained hidden far back from the illuminated area and carefully surveyed the scene. He counted forty graves that had been dug up—whether the digging had occurred from above the ground or below he couldn’t tell. There were no signs of any heavy equipment having been used in the graveyard, so he leaned toward the idea that the corpses had dug themselves out. The alternative—that a large group of diggers had uncovered the graves t

Second Chance: Mated To My Lycan King Brother-In-Law

Second Chance: Mated To My Lycan King Brother-In-Law

He is deep in thought. “Show me this graveyard.” I follow him outside to his car. The drive is only short and we drive in silence. The gates to the graveyard come into view and I shiver as we drive through. Pulling up, I shudder. Coming here in the day does nothing for my anxiety. It’s scary during the day too. Opening my door, I step out, closing the door behind me. I feel a shiver. I’m not cold. I’m terrified of what could jump out from behind a headstone.

This book is NOT as interesting as your first 2 books, the story of DESTINEE and FENRIR. If you followed up with the story of DAHLIA, I am sure your readers stayed on. Hopefully they will come back for DAHLIA. Goodluck with this book, which I find a drag to read after the first few chapers.

I really enjoyed the plot and the whole concept of the story and I recommend it for all to read. I love the concept of owning the mistake and doing some healing after betrayal and infidelity is heartwarming. GOOD JOB to the author...

Flowers for My Grave

Flowers for My Grave

Even after everyone had paid their respects at my gravestone, I couldn’t find his figure among the crowd. As people began to disperse, only Troy and Mom remained at the gravestone. They shared one last glance before leaving. I sat idly in front of my gravestone, trying to appear strong. “Troy to choose such a nice photo. All those hours I spent editing it weren’t in vain, at least it’s serving a purpose now,” I said loudly, to no one in particular. Then my emotions suddenly burst forth like a dam breaking. The realization that I was dead and would never again sit with everyone I loved overwhelmed me, and I began to weep uncontrollably.

Mated To My Lycan Stepbrothers

Mated To My Lycan Stepbrothers

“Stay close. We can’t afford to be separated.” We pressed on, careful with every step. Then, the air around us shifted. A cold gust of wind blew through the trees, carrying a strange scent, something old, something rotten. Zane stiffened. “Do you smell that?” I swallowed hard. “Yeah. Death.” As we stepped forward, the ground beneath us changed. The lush forest floor gave way to something unnatural, a graveyard. But this wasn’t just any graveyard. Broken weapons lay scattered among the graves, burnt stakes sticking out of the earth like forgotten warnings.

The Pack's Triquetra

The Pack's Triquetra

Jules asked as they returned to the cab. “Don’t think so,” Cameron inspected himself. “What happens if I do?” “Burns through cloth, and burns through you,” Jules said grimly. “Have to wash it off quick in the river.” “F-k,” Cameron shook his head incredulously. “Will burn through the gloves too,” Jules told him as he turned the Ute towards the rocky area that the Cartwrights called “the graveyard.” In the pre-dawn, with the headlights and spotlights picking out the twisted wrecks of cars and farm machinery abandoned over the eras of the Cartwrights farming the land and dragging out shadow into mystery, it was an eery place. Cameron was relieved when they managed to get the first corpse into

Fantastic follow up to the first book. I keep going back to the first one to reread the corresponding chapters. It’s so good to see all the perspectives. I cannot wait to see what happens next. Such a clever way to present a story. I’m hooked. I’ll read anything this author puts out at this point.

Digging My Grave

Digging My Grave

Instead, I drifted away, gazing into the distance. I liked the cemetery's location. It overlooked a glittering lake—the same one where I used to stare at my reflection as a pup. Only Leo would think to bury me somewhere I would have loved. By the time they were too exhausted to continue fighting, they both lay on the ground, wounded, staring up at the moon. Leo bared his teeth at Ryan, panting heavily as if he wanted nothing more than to tear out his throat. "How dare you come to Tiana's grave?" he growled. "She just wanted to rest in peace, not be your possession even in death!"

Oops, I Saved A Werewolf- Danger Tastes Delicious

Clad in a jogging suit, she embarked on a lengthy walk, hoping it would grant her the deep, peaceful sleep she had been lacking for the past three days. As she jogged through the area, an old graveyard caught her eye. Attempting to change the song on her headphones, she was interrupted by a chilling scream that made her scan her surroundings. Intrigued and a bit unnerved, she noticed an SUV in the graveyard, surrounded by men fervently digging. "What the heck?" she muttered, taking cautious steps toward them. Amidst the secret activity, a familiar voice reached her ears. "You said to bury you in the graveyard, but you didn't specify alive or dead?" The speaker remained unseen, adding an eeri
