And so, I venture into the Lunar woods, looking for my friend.
I walk through the trees, calling out both their names, wondering where they could be. But no other sound but the constant chitters of crickets and cicadas echoing through the forest, with the sound of leaves rustling. At this time of the day, the Lunar woods look the eeriest because sometimes the trees and shadows would converge to look like horrible monsters from stories told to scare little children, and each small sound like a twig snapping gets augmented to feel like some big, dangerous thing, an omen of what was to come.
