I sank into the chair, my hands hovering over the keyboard, but my mind was elsewhere, somewhere far away, replaying Daphne’s scary face, her fangs inches from my neck about to rip it off, her voice dripping with jealousy and pure hatred. “You’re his,” she’d said, so sure I was stealing Alex’s attention, his affection, or whatever she thought he owed her. The idea was laughable, Alex barely tolerated me but it left a bitter taste in my mouth. I didn’t want any part in her supernatural drama, her coven rivalries, or her twisted obsession with my stepbrother. Dean stared as water suddenly burst through the ceiling, cascading down the walls like a waterfall. “I don’t know! It’s like Freddy Krueger’s wet dream in here!” Prue spotted an exit. “THERE!” All three scrambled to their feet and ran, weaving between crashing tentacles that pulverised the floorboards behind them. Metal slammed down inches from their heads, missing them by heartbeats. The trio reached the side exit— But something wasn’t right. Water had poured around the doorframes… and began to change. The liquid writhed, forming fleshy, worm-like mouths with rows of gnashing teeth.

Rowan left before Iris could see him. Iris sat up and looked around. The air stank of blood and the bank was carpeted with dead bodies. Iris felt nauseous and and finally threw up. "Tell me I was dreaming" She looked at her best friend who looked at Japh. Japh shook his head. "You were…he was…" Iris pointed and touched her forehead. "Breathe" "Werewolves don't exist, right?" She suddenly stood up. "Because there's no way I just saw you change into a...oh no!"

I gulped hard as I peddled my way to the creek, greeting some of the townsfolk on the way when I got stopped by Mrs Maisel, another fanatic of the supernatural. “I heard you’ve been hanging around Monsoon Creek Rory,” She said whilst trying to crack a nut with her fingers, the woman was a nutcase, “You better be careful. Werewolves and Vampires are looking to prey on a beautiful soft lass as yourself.” I rolled my eyes in disbelief, “Wolves, Vampires and whatnot don’t exist Mrs Maisel. I’m pretty sure it’s just a cooked up story by some story tellers from your—

They either hadn't figured out that looking into our heads for secrets would destroy them or they were seeking the fastest way to die. "I think there is a leprechaun over there," Alexis said in surprise. I didn't see the leprechaun, but I did see a monstrous Were-boar that was as big as a bull. I saw Were-bears, Were-tigers, and even a black-cloaked Superhero who used a silver dagger to lop off the heads of the Neratomay. And then I saw what was happening to the power source emanating from the center of the pentagram.

Ruth ended the call and left Alex and Lee with an astounded expression. “Oh God.” Their minds were about to melt down. Werewolves, vampires, witches—were all real. Alex was reminded of a book he read at Books and Artifact where he works. “Lee, I found a book at Books and Artifact that was about supernatural creatures. I think the name of the book was, um, Wars, Wood Battles, um, I can’t remember.” “You mean The Wood War by Kayla Nicky Chadson?” Ha! The boy jolted in shock as he heard the voice of Abigail behind them. They stared at each other, confused about what to say.

I'll make sure to not mess this up again. We said our goodbyes and I returned to my laptop. I took a good look at it and then I deleted all of my work. I feel like a second chance needs a second start. I'll rewrite the whole thing. A complete new plot and storyline and everything. She gave me three months so I have enough time for this. As I was starting to organize my story I heard this strange noise. As if something was shaking furiously. I turned my head to the sound trying to see if something was shaking. Something was indeed shaking. It was the old book that was on my bed minutes ago.

He was pretty much all I had when it came to protection and comfort. I felt more tears begin to form in my eyes as I thought that over. I'm such a baby. I didn't even make it past the first night without missing him. "Oh," Doe replied while I wiped my eyes, "Well, At least I think I stopped you before you woke up the vampir-" Doe was cut off, with some sort of twisted timing, by a vampire kicking open the door to our room. I barely saw the light begin to flood in before I saw panic begin to flash in Does eyes.

Maybe it all came from the lingering frustration about every little thing since my little family reunion at school. I tried not to think about it. Or anything else in particular but as you know it’s quite hard to keep your mind blank, so yeah, not much luck. I switched on the lamp beside my bed taking out my Creatures of the Moon book, I was reading something about Wendigos the last time if I could recall well. Vicious creatures, I tell you. These were the true creatures of the night. More deadly than vampires in my opinion. I sighed through the pages buying out time, as the minutes whisked away.

Sighing, I crawled under the sheets and stared out at the dark, starry sky. I wonder if half vampires also have mates? Will I know who's mine when I see him? *~*~*~*~*~*~* Hola Beautiful Readers!
