The armoured woman slightly rolled her eyes sideways thinking, where did her gothic war hammer crashed to? “The flower is not your ordinary flower you know, it is a flower only few cognize and was firstly written by Godmother Mimosa that rained down from outside this world in seeds along with a supreme being during the fight between Him and the Destroyer. It said with the right preparations of the flower it gives the subject unbelievable and unimaginable powers,” as he spoke a traces of light and explosions was seen from above. “Well. I think that is a reason for his strange speed.” “He… he cut down one of the Kirin’s antlers… “ The injured lady spoke in a way one could feel the discomfort i

Burning In His Crimson Love

Burning In His Crimson Love

A nice lavender scent fills the air. “Does this suit your taste, my little human?” He gently lowers me into the bathtub. A wave of warmth spreads through my muscles as the water soaks my skin. “Warm water?” I glance at Lorcan. “When did you prepare this all?!” “When you started to turn and toss.” He smiles, dropping a pink floral bath bomb. “I thought you would like a warm bath after a long night.” “Thanks.” I grin, collecting rose petals in my palms. “Um…can you leave? I would like to take a bath.”

Night Flower

Night Flower

Deliberately, carefully, with skill and sustained effort. And underneath it, held so tightly it was barely present, held the way you held something at the bottom of a current with both hands and all your weight, something else entirely. Something that smelled of open ground after rain and running cold water and the particular clean-iron scent that belonged to a bloodline with significant age in it. Not warm-blooded. Not the human register. Something older than both, something that had been here before the categories existed and had continued regardless. I pulled back and looked at her face.

Twice Crowned in Crimson

Twice Crowned in Crimson

All the cold hatred and icy waters of my previous life seemed a world away then. My family was safe, my love was right there with me, and the heat from his hand was all I needed to fend off the world's chill. The snowflakes gently laid a white shroud over the earth, hiding every harsh memory. Beneath this snowy veil, my new life was blossoming, warm, real, and full of promise. Outside, the snow fell silently. Inside, the promise of spring was already taking root, quiet but alive.

Blood Rose

Blood Rose

I was out from behind my desk and moving past him within seconds, but before I could make it to the door, and it wasn't even that far, he pulled me back and I ended up with my face in his chest and our bodies so close you couldn't tell the difference if not for our different coloured clothes. I was speechless, that was for sure. Speechless with a nose full of his spicy clean and crisp scent, it reminded me of black pepper. To say I was breathing him in was an understatement,I was devouring his scent. My knees positively weak, thank God he was holding me, or I would have been a puddle on the floor by now. "I didn't come to give you a break Flower, I came to feed you." His voice...the rich tim

The Crimson Bond

The Crimson Bond

ILANA. The Blood Moon Festival came five days too early. On the third evening, the moon bathed its eerie, crimson glow over the Nightshade Pack. This was an event rarely experienced and considered by the pack to be a sign from the Moon Goddess, hastening the fate of two destined mates. The pack was in an uproar of joyful frenzy. The whole of the pack square hummed with excitement, as though even the air vibrated in anticipation. I faltered at the door to Rana's small cabin and brushed off invisible lint from the pale blue dress that Rana had lent me for tonight. "Rana, are you sure about this?" I asked, trying to keep the nerves from edging my voice.

The Vampire's Flower

The Vampire's Flower

I would wield it as a weapon, harness its power to bring justice to those who had wronged me. And so, with a renewed sense of purpose, I rode on, deeper into the heart of the Black Woods. The wind whispered my name, a haunting melody that echoed through the trees. My heart, though battered and scarred, pulsed with a determination that could not be extinguished. For in the depths of darkness, where secrets and shadows dance, that's where everything would emerge from. That's where the Vampire's Flower would be buried and a devil would be born. The horse came to a halt as it couldn't enter the forest any further. I got off of it as I walked in the direction of my mother's grave. But, that was w

The Crimson Curse

The Crimson Curse

Death draws me towards it like we have been attached with an unbreakable string. Maybe it's just a superpower in which I get the last chance to save the person in front of me or maybe it’s a curse. Particularly a Crimson curse, as I like to call it. Through the years the number of deaths I have seen is greater than my age. You would think that death doesn't affect me anymore. You are right to think that because that is what I had thought until 5 days ago.

The Crimson Accord

The Crimson Accord

Elle Zimmermannseducing my aunt
Now, I crave it. I stood in my usual spot, overlooking the garden of Tencrest. Early as could be, but it was a bustling space for the Founding Ten this time of the year. Some ate breakfast outside, others were working on some sparring in the back of the property. I couldn’t make out who it was, but Sasha stood watch over them. There were many things I disliked about the Crimson Ball each year. My space was invaded and the nonstop meetings were exhausting, but seeing the liveliness of the home brought me joy. It was limited today, but I was proud of the visual proof that the Crimson Accord did work. Today, it was needed.
