After some time of laughing, we ended it with a sigh and looked at Marcus who only shook his head. "Do you girls want to go to the movies some time? Did you know that the movie, 'His Obsession' is out already? The one written by this awesome author, 'Gift Odulesi'." Marcus informed us with a broad smile. "Really?!" Sheryl and I squealed. "Wow, that's so cool! The 'His Obsession' that the main characters are Eve Netherland and Justin Carter? I really loved that book and I'll love to watch the movie." My lips curved into a smile.

When I opened my eyes again, I was lying in a hospital bed. Callum Pierce, my childhood friend, sat beside the bed. When he saw me wake up, joy lit up his face. "Stella." My whole body was still shaking violently. It felt as if I could still see those men touching me. Callum immediately held me as I lost control. "It's all right. I've already sent them to prison. "And I had those photos swapped out. Everything taken to the auction was edited fake material."

Upside down, disoriented, Cross groaned beside me. "Cross! Are you okay?" My voice trembled, the fear seeping through. His groans intensified, a disconcerting melody of pain.
