Lines Crossed For Love

Lines Crossed For Love

She came to him every morning after her brother-in-law Maxwell left for work. Never could he have imagined what he was getting into, surrendering himself to Andrea that night at Spira Huntley’s house, but what he had uncovered had horrified him, and Reyan knew he was in way over his head. From the time they had arrived at the ranch in Texas, they had had very little contact with the outside world, but Reyan had found out that the operation he had stumbled upon was only one facet of what these mercenaries were doing. He didn’t have enough power to dismantle it alone and so he would have to leave to get more power or find someone who already it.

CRUZ

CRUZ

Her mother wasn't even around because she had to take care of Harriot. The Cruz family was around. Clara felt ashamed of herself on seeing them there. Rubbing her sweaty hands on her lap, there was an unbeatable amount of fear in her after seeing Philip. Her pulse ran the fastest race inside of her body causing more nervousness. Everything started to slow down in front of her and in her. She started to feel her brain split in two and her consciousness fading quickly.

Before the woman could even react, Patrick shoved her aside impatiently. "Enough already. Get lost. You're just here to leech off the traffic from my livestream." Straightening his tailored suit with an exaggerated poise, he turned back to the camera. "Everything's clear now. This woman bought her ticket from some no-name lottery shack in some backwater village. Obviously, she got scammed." His words did not spark relief among our classmates and lecturers. Instead, they looked regretful.

Ava’s POV The message came just after sunset. Ethan: Meet me at the Southridge Gym. 8 p.m. You’ll understand when you get here. I almost ignored it. Almost. But by seven-thirty, I was already driving, headlights slicing through the quiet stretch of highway that connected Charlotte to the smaller districts. The night felt heavier than usual, like it knew I was heading somewhere I shouldn’t. Southridge wasn’t far — forty minutes from the city, tucked between worn-out warehouses and fading streetlights. The gym was old, local, the kind of place you’d miss if you weren’t looking.

When Roads Collide

When Roads Collide

A silent rebellion against the unspoken rules of our home. Sometimes, after school, if Zane was distracted, Zye would linger near the main gate. Morison, bless his heart, would find an excuse to be busy nearby. Zye would talk, her voice soft, about her day, about her dreams of far-off places. I’d listen, offering quiet observations. Those moments, few and far between, were oxygen. They reminded me that not everyone in the world, not even in that house, saw me as an infection of poverty.

The Crowolf. When Love Crosses Species.

The Crowolf. When Love Crosses Species.

But you couldn’t overlook the front entrance. A big black crow with spread wings was on the golden door - one wing on the left part, the other one on the right. It made you think it was the entrance to another mysterious world. So visible even at night - the golden light lit it up from the back. It seemed to be burning with vivid flames of eternal destruction.

Zion

Zion

I joked in an attempt to lighten the now heavy atmosphere that settled between us. My father rolled his dark, hooded eyes before continuing, "We found one way to escape hell. The place your subconscious took you too was a place that lies between the realm of mortals and the realm of hell." "It's how demons come into this realm. It's a bridge that was created. Under the bridge is a sea full of anger and hate. It is known as the sea of lost souls," my mother explained further. A frown now covering the soft features of her face.

I normally read werewolf stories, which is how I found this author as I've been reading the Kylie's other books. This is the first story I've read with Demons and Angels, and I have really enjoyed it. A massive congratulations to Kylie for another great story. Looking forward to more stories :)

I was enthralled by this story of good and and evil. I believe you are a little closer to the mark than most which makes this story very interesting to read. I was very impressed. I definitely think you should do a follow up. Your writing is very talented. Thank you for an amazing tale. Please more.

… Isolde gave Seraphina’s family a polite nod, her smile composed and elegant. “Having weddings on the same day is a kind of fate, isn’t it? “Let me and my husband also offer our congratulations.”

Crossing The Line

Crossing The Line

I blinked, trying to steady my vision, but everything kept shifting—like the walls were breathing. Two doorways soon came into view. “1069…” I mumbled, staring at the card in my hand, wondering where I was supposed to insert it. I don't know why I was saying the numbers aloud, but I couldn't stop it. “1069,” I repeated, searching for the number tag. I looked above the entrances. “No number?” I asked myself and blinked, to make my blurry vision clearer. My focus cleared, and I tried to pronounce the… words?
