The reinforced pillars collapsed, metal screaming as it twisted into a jagged trap of steel and frost. The windshield exploded inward in a shower of diamond-sharp shards. The internal lights died, plunging us into a darkness lit only by the vengeful, dark red glow bleeding from the floor fissures.
