Tempting The Bad Boy
I stopped in the stationery department, I'm not even sure why, but I felt like a magnet, being pulled towards the bright, cheerful colours of the notebooks and pens, each with designs of foods dressed up as happy, smiling characters.
I flipped through a stack of notebooks until I found one with a cupcake printed on the cover, its cute little grin reminding me of my own Cupcake. I found the matching pen and then discovered there was an entire set that could be made up from rulers, pencil cases and erasers. I may still be seething with anger about our fight, but I also knew that we'd come through this. I wanted to be the reason she smiled, not the cause of her tears.
