It wasn’t Xander but the other one, Archer. She had guessed right about the arrow. Archer had a silver bow in his hand. It was magnificent. There was a carving on it and at both tips a jewel. She saw his muscles flex as he raised the bow, leading her to believe it was heavy. Her eyes were stuck on the muscles between his shoulder blades as his arm pulled back and released, sending a white arrow into a ball that had been catapulted into the air. ***

I turned her body around, pulling her so my front was pressed against the half of her back, opposite of where she needed to pull her bow strings. I helped her into position, making sure her hand clutching the bow was steady and her eyes were fixed on the target, while using her peripheral vision to keep the tip of the arrow on the goal as well. I was not done with my instructions and positioning her elbow yet when she fired. And of course she missed.

"It's at the do you want to decimate the assholes that did this to him with me or not stage." Hades gave Jinx a tail bump, loosening the tight hold he usually kept on his aura. "Let's go." Hades jumped down to what was left of the Rodeo show floor as Jinx descended down to the level where the Senders were still attacking from. Jinx looked like an avenging angel as he summoned a second card. "Ten of Arrows. The arrows will weigh you down if you don't understand their purpose. I know their power and they fly true."

Arisa smiled lightly. Levi finally stepped forward. Arisa acknowledged him with a nod and stepped away from Ruben, giving him time to stand back up. Levi placed three arrows on the string of his bow and pulled back, taking his aim. Arisa got into position, carefully calculating his every movement shift. That was the problem though. He did not, in anyway, give up what he was planning or where he was going. Arisa frowned lightly. "Begin!"

The trees fluttered, hitting each other as he passed by them, and went straight to the lord. “Ice arrow.” Fluppy opened his mouth and created countless ice arrows. “Shoot!” ZUP! ZUP! ZUP! ZUP! The arrows pounced in Shadow's direction. BOM! BOM! BOM! BOM! The arrows hit the VIP area where Shadow and the special unit were. “More!” The ice dragon shot another series of arrows. BOM! BOM! BOM! BOM! The arrows penetrated the already destroyed VIP seat just in case.

Now he’s standing right behind me. “You hold the arrow like this,” he murmurs, his fingers brushing lightly against mine as he adjusts my grip. His touch sends a jolt of warmth through me, and I can feel the heat of his breath on the back of my neck. My breathing falters for a brief second. “Pull the arrow back,” he instructs, his voice steady and reassuring. I follow his guidance, my hands shaking less now. “Now focus on the target... and let go.” When I release the arrow, it barely makes it three feet before falling to the ground. Embarrassment rushes through me, but Nico doesn’t laugh or criticize.

I pulled the arrow back following his instruction and he waited for me to position the arrow appropriately. “Aim at the target. If you have a sight, align it with the centre of the target and adjust for distance and shoot.” He said I let go of the arrow. The arrow tore through the air, and I stared in anticipation as the arrow neared the target. I groaned in frustration as the arrow missed the entire board the target was glued to. I continued to shoot, and the arrow started hitting the board slowly, but strategically avoided the target. Cassian too looked frustrated as he stood there trying to hide his frustration. I was ready to give up when Erdem’s voice reached my ears.

I shifted back once I was satisfied with his position. Without his awareness, his arms immediately changed positions, but he released the arrow before I could ever reprimand him. The arrow dive bombed, but it only managed to travel about 20 meters. Levi murmured, almost ashamed, "Well...that was shit," as I chuckled lightly. I said, "Here," and I took out another arrow. Before I got onto his back, I stepped behind him and had him crouch. He shifted me while grinning and supporting my weight on his back. I anchored myself to him by tightly around his waist with my legs. Right, raise the bow once again.

As she resumed her stance and drew the string taut again, I returned to my place across from her. But as soon as she released it, the arrow sprang farther across than where her target should be. I could tell she was growing frustrated. Her form was perfect yet the arrow had missed the target yet again. I could not help myself any longer. I moved to stand behind her, my hands gently guiding hers into the proper position. My breath caught as I felt her lean back into me ever so slightly.

Placing the aura arrow onto the string of my bow, I prepared to take aim. Amongst the assassins, one individual emitted the strongest aura, engrossed in devouring a massive leg of meat, utterly oblivious to the imminent danger. Setting my sights on this target, I focused my aim directly at the assassin's head, aligning the arrow for a precise shot. Drawing the bowstring, a surge of luminous blue aura coursed along the string, synchronizing with the arrow itself. The combined energies hummed in unison, ready to be unleashed toward its intended mark.
