Lira moved like lightning, her runes glowing with white fire as she burned through the corrupted ones, leaving trails of ash in her wake. But no matter how many we cut down, more came. They crawled from the mist, endless and screaming. “This isn’t a pack,” Kael shouted. “It’s a curse given form!” “Then we end it!” I yelled back. I felt the mark on my arm ignite—hot, bright, alive.
