Chapter Four. AINA (Werewolf Realm) May 1st 2026. It wasn't just a headache. It was a full scale invasion of my skull. It was a jagged, pulsing agony that felt like someone was trying to pry my brain apart with a rusted screwdriver. I groaned, attempting to bolt upright, but my cousin whirled into a sickening kaleidoscope of grey and black. I collapsed back onto the furs, a pathetic sound escaping my throat.

The memory of the battlefield flashes in my mind as I quickly clutch my chest, glancing down only to see my chest has completely healed. “You can thank Oshmin for that,” Zarseti says, gesturing to Oshmin. I look over at Oshmin to see he is also bathed in radiant light…but it’s deformed. This gorgeous blue is wrapped up in tendrils of black and somehow, I know I’m looking at his curse. “Guess we won’t be needing the Orraikam anymore,” Oshmin says, looking off where a large pile of glittering dust lays in a pile on the ground.

Atrocious replied, rubbing an orb on the armrest of his chair. "Reveal? What do you have to reveal?" Draco raised an eyebrow, realizing that it must be serious if Atrocious was acting this way. Atrocious was never one to think or worry so much about anything and when he does, it meant it was something to be taken very seriously. Atrocious sighed heavily, picked up the orb, and muttered a spell. The orb became surrounded by a mist of emerald color, and an obscure figure appeared within it. "It's a curse. Your brother, the Alpha King, is cursed."

I stop abruptly and the man stops with me, his hand grabbing my arm and pulling me close. "Did not think someone like you would be this shy-" he traces my face with the back of his fingers and I slap his hand away from my face, shaking lightly. "Someone like me?!" I hiss between my teeth and it seems that my rage only fuels something within the man as he smirks at me, showing off his disgustingly yellow teeth. Up close, Father Cassimir is even more disgusting. Maybe if he took better care of himself... no! It was a matter of the heart! his heart was tainted and no amount of water and soap would wash that away!

“You can have all of them if you wish, Mr billionaire,” Laura Emerson commented, “you are disgusting, Kenny. It was Jade and Lydia was the one to curse him more.

Her answer sure came as a surprise to me. “It’s hard to understand this but the ancestors of the Goldsman were lycanthrope. It’s said that the Eldest Goldsman was referred to as Lord. He was cursed by a nasty witch after he ordered her execution for murdering innocent kids in name of sacrificial rituals. Due to it, he underwent a lot of trouble.” Caitlyn had a distant look in her eyes, staring past my shoulders towards the forest behind me.

Valaria asked stepping off of the elevator. “It’s a vile perversion of my species,” Okimi added, “A Kitsune that has done so much evil…” “That it becomes evil.” Stacy finished the sentence for her as Stacy could feel the anguish in Okimi’s very being, “It’s sole purpose is to cause mayhem and destruction, particularly to the lives of ones that have been cursed.” The group made their way to Grace’s lab, as they entered Valaria asked the question that everyone was thinking, “Cursed by whom?”
