CHAPTER 76: WITH RELATION TO THE DEVIL ZAHRA'S POV The fire crackled softly in the corner of the room, casting a warm glow on the nearby furniture. I lay on the couch in Dashiell's estate, my limbs heavy with weakness. The familiar scent of the leather seats mixed with the faint smell of ginseng still emitting from my clothes. Was that supposed to happen? Was that supposed to glow like that? Did the curse break that confession?

I see Damien slightly gazes at me. “What’s wrong with him? Dee says he’s fun and active. Why the hell is he acting like this?” I thought. Before the conversation continues, some girls in uniform bring some drinks and three sets of shisha pipes in different colors. I almost stand up seeing those things, I whisper to Dmitri, “Hey, are those–” “–I warned you, didn’t I? You don’t need to if you don’t want to,” he says and then he kisses me on my lips.
