I murmured under my breath, and a smile formed on my lips. God! I couldn't wait to get home to Renee. I couldn't wait to tell her it was all over. That we’d won, and Amanda would never hurt us again. She would never, ever. Still deep in thought and unaware of what was happening around me, a voice called out. "Dad?" I froze immediately. Dylan. Slowly, I turned, my gaze drifting from where it had lingered on Amanda's retreating form to… my son. He was approaching me.

He simply comes up behind me and rests both hands on my belly, chin on my shoulder. “They’re going to love this room,” he murmurs. “I hope so.” “They will. And they’ll love their mother even more.” Zavian joins us a few minutes later. The three of us stand together in the completed nursery, looking at the space we built. No one rushes to fill the silence. It is enough to be here, surrounded by the evidence of the future we are making. Evenings have become my favorite part of the day.

Should we call Adam and see if he still wants to be here for it?" He said, "I was thinking the same thing. I just didn't want to rush you. I will call him now." I put one hand on his cheek and said, "You're the best". Damien called Adam and said, "Adam will be here in about 20 minutes. He's taking the chopper down. He doesn't want to miss this."

I don't know why, but my dad had his contact information. M: It doesn't matter to me why; I just need to try to talk to him. He has lost a lot of vampires so far. Z: Okay. I will try to reach him. M: Okay. Let me know. I'm going to try to get some sleep. I found Adam in Abby's room. I had him taken to the dungeons. I want Abby to be the one to decide his fate. Z: Good idea. Goodnight, man. my dad's voice thundered like a monsoon. I felt really bad for my uncle. I knew that there still might be a way of escape in the dungeon where my dad was to send Cassandra and I into. In fact, I was glad that my dad finally realized what my true intentions were. The only thing I could then hope for was that the dungeon was the exact same place I had seen in the map two years ago that had a tunnel underneath. But what was going to happen to my uncle? I really did not want the poor man do suffer worse than he had already suffered all because of me.

Well, T, I guess we will go and let the boys have fun. “We’ve gotten what we needed from him anyway,” Tamaska says, I link my dad to let him know that I am leaving for this part and that Tamaska was able to get some information from his thoughts. I walk out of the dungeon and find my mom and the luna waiting. “I guess the bays want to play with him a little.” The luna says. “Yep. I figure I would excuse myself so that they don’t have to hold themselves back.” I said.

Adam I roamed through the halls and cells looking for Desiree, but I couldn't find her. I wondered where my father had her placed, and I began to panic. The fear in my heart was almost unbearable. I had never been this afraid before. I searched every nook and cranny in the moon dungeon but couldn't find her. It was midnight now, so I returned to my father's chamber. I entered unannounced, and I hadn't hated him as much as I did at that moment. My entrance must have alerted him because he woke up.

Dad is also here. Oh, shit.

I was happy that I could help everyone out. “It’s done, Daddy.” A yawn escaped me. My body was tired after drawing in, and releasing, all of that magic. He picked me up and hugged me tightly. His fingers anchored themselves into the fur of one Hellhounds. He asked it to take us back to Dark Moon. One minute we were on the battlefield, and we were back in our suite the next minute. “I’m so proud of you, sweetheart,” Dad told me as he laid me down on my bed.
