Dads Friend Novels & Stories

"Because Daphne got here safely, you have nothing to worry about." "Dad ...." I protested to my father and asked why he was rude to Asher. Dad laughed and put his arm around me. "You're scared. Take it easy. How could you hate Asher," Dad said while looking Asher up and down? Asher just shrugged nonchalantly. It seemed like he knew my father's behavior because they had been friends for a long time. Dad and I went inside. Asher followed us. I tried to hold back my feelings so as not to get too emotional when the woman who made me so angry appeared in this house and greeted me.

he replied. "Dad, what would you have done if one of your friends had dated me?" I asked as I looked over at him. I was nervous about his answer. "Well, that is quite a question. I am close to Tristan. I can only think of him if he had to date you...." he shook his head, blowing out a breath. "I guess I would kill him with my bare hands....I don't know. But I surely wouldn't allow my friends to take advantage of my daughter and get away with it. I don't know...but as long as it's not happening I'm happy," he looked at me with a smile. "There isn't anything there now, is there?" he narrowed his eyes in suspicion.

Total douche, goes through girls like he has them at an endless supply," I mutter. He's my Dad's friends son. Apparently Dad trusts him, so there goes my choice.

I groan and walk through, they are great guys, but they all treat me like a little girl, like their daughter. “Your dad, and you remember your uncle Damon right?” I nod, how can I forget? Sure, it has been five years, but I remember him. I was what, seventeen when I last saw him? I don’t come home often and when I do, I don’t stay long. “Like I could forget.” He is one of dad’s oldest friends, although my dad is fifty, and Damon is forty, he is still his best friend. We walk out, my eyes settling on my dad as his eyes widen.

"I'm planning to talk to Mr. Smith, Damien. I need to know the truth. I know Mrs. Smith won't talk to me, so I'll go straight to Zandra's father." He wrinkled his nose and shook his head. "Can I still change your mind?" "No," I answered honestly. "This is about my dad, Damien. I want to know what really happened." He sighed. "Dad mentioned about him, your dad and Zandra's dad being friends. He even said that…their first love was Zandra's mom." My lips parted as I stared into his eyes. I know that Zandra's mom was my dad's friend, I thought it was all but I was wrong. And what? My dad, Mr. Smith and Damien's dad are friends? I didn't know. Dad never mentioned that.
