She *should* have at least considered it. But she didn’t want to. Damien’s eyes darkened with satisfaction when he realized she wasn’t going to use it. He leaned down and kissed her, not gently, but deeply and possessively. When he pulled back, he looked at her with something close to pride. Elena didn’t say anything, she couldn’t.
