Married to a Ghost
There, I saw my unfinished design, which still needed a few finishing touches.
Reflecting on the memories from tonight, I added a few touches of white to the large expanse of black. The white was like snow, or perhaps clouds, blending into the uncertainty and confusion I felt.
As I stared at the wedding dress, my mind began to drift. Images of the dark night, running, and ruins flashed through my thoughts. I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my chest.
I stood up and helplessly looked around. I wasn't sure where this emotion was coming from. Stumbling, I ran to the bedroom and reached for the door handle, but then I hesitated.
