They resumed their attention to the television, which was showing the CCTV-captured videos. Phantom let out a sigh. He'd been gripping his fist for quite some time. Phantom was distracted as his friend was talking about their difficulty, and Phantom wasn't paying attention because his thoughts were on Savannah. He was concerned since he couldn't think of anything else besides her. He wouldn't have woken up from what he was thinking if his friend hadn't tapped him on the shoulder. "Are you aware that your stepmother acquired several properties in her name?" His friend asked abruptly.

"D a n n y... I... d o... n o t... w a n t... t o... d i e." Danny kept his eyes on the wolf that was walking towards him and wanted to tell Kavin that he did not want to die too. The man stopped in front of the car window and looked inside. "W h o... a r e... y o u? D o n o t... y o u... k n o w... t h a t... t h i s... a r e a... i s... p r i v a t e... p r o p e r t y?

Damien’s P.O.V For a moment, the world around me felt muted. The invitation in my hand seemed heavier than it had any right to be, the weight pressing into my palm as if it carried all the ghosts I’d tried to bury. Elijah. Gabriel. Their names might as well have been written in blood. I stared at the card, my vision tunneling on the elegant, mocking script. *The Black Mirage. "Just who are you?" As if finally hearing his question, the old man grinned, flashing his yellowed teeth at them. "I'm the Phantom of Thimberton." The Phantom of Thimberton? Cassian was dumbfounded. It was her first time hearing that name. "Dr. York… I might know who he is," Fiona piped up timidly. Cassian swiftly turned toward her, who seemed quite terrified. "You know about him?" he hurriedly asked.

Suddenly, Philip found a card under the woman's body. There was a black lantern on the card with the words ‘Underworld’ next to the lantern. Philip frowned. The card was weird no matter how he looked at it. As Philip was about to pick up the card, Raven stopped him. “Don’t touch that thing!” Hearing Raven's exclamation, Philip was startled. He did not expect that Raven would have such a big reaction upon seeing this card. Philip asked, “Do you recognize this thing?”

The Phantom lunged. Gunfire erupted, the room exploding into chaos. Amara moved like fire, every step precise, every shot lethal. But the Phantom was faster than she’d expected—dodging, weaving, striking with surgical precision. Above, Dante gave the order. His men stormed down from the hills, bullets shredding the night. But when they breached the villa, the Phantom was already gone, leaving behind only bodies, smoke, and a single calling card pinned to the wall: “This is only the beginning.”

A slow, eerie smirk played on his lips as he eyed the three standing in his path.

“He’s here. He’s here.” The room went dead still. “Who?” Halstrom pressed. There was a crackle, a low breath across the line. “The…..” And then the call choked with static. I froze, pulse hammering. Because just before the silence swallowed Carter’s voice, I’d heard it, something Damon had said days ago. A nickname he’d given the Man in White in the dark humor of exhaustion. The Phantom. Carter had been about to say it. But then his voice twisted into a scream that ripped through the line, sharp and final.

It spoke of power, of recognition, of finally being more than second best. And when the figure of Dr. Mahisar appeared in his mind—watching him with an unsettling patience—Danny didn’t resist. He told himself it wasn’t betrayal. It was fairness. If Kaelan couldn’t see his worth, someone else would. He found the card Dr. Mahisar had given him during the museum tour. Hands shaking, he dialed the number half hoping he wouldn’t answer. He held his breath as the line began to ring. “Danny, I am so glad you called,” Dr. Mahisar’s smooth lyrical voice answered. Danny was surprised he knew it was Danny calling.
