The scent of tobacco and rain filled her nostrils, registering a name at the back of her head. Xandros. She gulped. In all of her lives both in her imagination and reality, never had she expected to see Xandros sleeping. In a library of all places. A book was opened before him and she could see the title atop on of the pages. Tales of the dark. It was a book for Lycans. She could make that out, not that she would understand a shit about it. What she knew about them were the stories told. Nothing more.
