Part 1 will be Gamma Carlos and Shaila's Story (Alpha Caspian's Gamma) and Part 2 is a combination of Dominic/Sofia and Darvin/Celeste love story with a few snippets of Lucas/Katarina. After that, we will move to the North and see more of the side characters that we met in Alexa and Aeon's book. Still, the way he said it, like the words made me feel small. “Tell me, Snow,” he pressed, voice dipping lower. “What kind of books do you read?” My stomach dropped and panic fluttered in my chest. If he knew, if he even suspected. The facade I’d built so carefully for my parents would crumble to dust. He couldn’t know that behind closed doors, I consumed more dark romance and filth than any good girl should. The sound of the front door swinging open snapped the moment in half. I blinked, tearing my gaze away just in time to see my dad stride in. Relief flooded me so fast my knees almost buckled.

"What do I need to do, sir?" His expression grew even darker. "Are you in for this bet?" "I'll leave it to your discretion," I answered. That response seemed to infuriate him. I could see his grip on his wine glass tighten, his knuckles turning white. "Fine, let's bet." The cards were dealt, and the game was on. I did not get the rules of the game, but the vibe? That I could read like an open book. Everyone was as still as statues, barely breathing.

Chapter 1: Dysfunctional family. The darkness is nothing more than a test that God gives us, many times to overcome things and learn from it, but in the end we all carry that darkness in our hearts, we just have to decide whether to expel it or let it dwell within you. Charlotte is a girl who has been in the dark since she was born, her parents were shitty to her, she was beaten and mistreated unjustifiably simply because her parents wanted it that way, but to understand a little of this story we must return to the past.

I felt ropes of hot come coat the walls of my vagina then everything went dark. Sun rays warmed my face and I groaned. I turned multiple times and I realized I wasn't in my bed because I would be on the floor after the second turn. I stretched and a large strong hand wrapped around my waist. The hand pulled me and my back hit his hard chest. I was confused for a minute then everything that happened the night before came rushing to my head and I groaned.

Adrian I push out from the curb, the cold night air, hitting my skin. My bike engine revs as I drive through the darkness. The street is empty and there is no soul around. The world is quiet and it feels like I'm the only one awake. I'm not. A lot of things are going on even in the darkness. Dark things. I pull into a street and I soon arrive in front of a house. An old detached house that looks abandoned. I climb off my bike, pull off my helmet, and go straight into the house.

“It's not like that. It's not something you can get rid of. It's part of me; it's my other half. It's who and what I am. Don’t you see, I am the darkness! To get rid of it would be to get rid of me. I'm no good for you. I will only cause you pain and suffering. I am the darkness! I'm the monster everyone's afraid of. I'm the beast in the dark that children have nightmares of. I am the evil from the depths of hell and will only snuff out your light, little angel. You and I can never be together!” He said with a deep and rough voice. Smoke seeped from his body again, and a dark aura rose from his body like a shadow looming over her.

Don’t fall for it, Amelia. “What is it?” I still asked. “The Book of Darkness.” My eyes widened. My mouth parted, and he saw my reaction right away. “It was found hidden in a cave, by an excavator, who was also an anthropologist. He died before he could grab the book. He called someone who funded him, but it was a burner number, so we couldn’t trace it. I’m sure you’re aware of the legions. Zarah may have inquired about it. The master isn’t from thousands of years ago. Someone may know the book and use it for personal gain. I want you to go to New York and ask a professor who has knowledge about old books. He’s a pathfinder. His name is Calder Haynes, half-brother of Califf Stone.”

Handing it over to me, his eyes looked gloomy. “You won’t find comfort in these pages,” he said. “But you may just find what you are looking for.” I opened carefully, my fingers trembling and sweaty all of a sudden, the pages smelled old, worn out and ripped off at the edges. On the first page, written in red ink fading and peeling, were the words: “The Blood in Her Name.” “What is this?” I asked, the title multiplying my fears. “An account of wolves born with what we called... dark spirits.” He folded his hands across his chest as he spoke. “Wolves who walked two paths at once, light and darkness, peace and destruction.”
