Michael said looking at Gage. “What did he look like?” Gage asked. “I don’t know, he had a hood on, and he wouldn’t remove it, he had dark red eyes.” She said shaking her head. “He scared me, he told me they were going to use a ritual to summon me and sacrifice me.” She said with tears rolling down her face. “Please Jade I don’t want to be here anymore, can't we go home?”

When I go to stand back up to find somewhere to hide, I’m thrown backwards into a tree, hitting my head. I groan and let my vision come to focus. My head begins to throb as I sit up and I notice I am nowhere near the fight. A hooded figure comes to view, I try to stand but stumble from dizziness. The hooded figure gets closer and lets out a horrid screech. I start gasping as a blue wisp starts to come from my parted lips and I feel as if my energy is being drained. Right before darkness consumes me, I see those purple eyes with gold flecks.

He threw his head back. "Hey, hey," I called him, my hands still on his head shaking it slightly. "Look at me" He looked at me, and that's when I saw his eyes . They were fierce and scary. Something dark flickered in his eyes for a moment. His pupils were silver now. It was so beautiful and yet, so dangerous. For some reason, I wasn't scared. I patted him slightly on the cheek. "Tell me, what's the problem?"

Jagged vertebrae strung together, some notches still stained with dark, dried blood. A sickened gasp slips from me, my fingers trembling as Braden presses the handle into my hand. The weight of it is cold and heavy, settling into my palm with a horrifying finality. My wolf whimpers, shrinking back into the recesses of my mind with a soft, keening cry. I can’t breathe. My vision blurs, bile rising, but then I see them—two eyes in the dark. Storm-grey and luminous, fixed on me with an intensity that pins me to the spot.

She could feel him all around her, staring at them with dark psychotic eyes. Slowly, she turned around and looked up. The moment her eyes met his, she froze. That was a terrible idea but it turned deadly the moment he tore his cold eyes away from her and settled on the man who was still dancing with his arms wrapped around her waist. His eyes darkened, turning gray into near-black thunderclouds. Rosana bit back a smile. At least she had gotten part of what she craved by getting on his nerves. He looked scary and dangerous. Like a monster ready to devour its prey. But she wasn't done yet.

"Kill me and let's get this over with." He stays silent and keeps looking me deep in the eye with so much hate and anger. Never has he ever looked at me this way. It's so strange, but that's not the only strange thing about his eyes. They look different and that's when I notice his eyes aren't the way they used to be, they're black, like Sean's. No, not like Sean's. They're completely black, every part of his eye. What is this? What is going on? I look away from him to Sean and see it's the same thing, black. Every other person is far away, and I can't possibly see their eyes in the dark, but something is not right. Something's definitely off. What could it be? What's going on?

I whispered, and saw his blue eyes gaze at me with anger, darkening almost immediately. His pupils constricted, turning his beautiful blue eyes black, as the latter expanded completely over his eyeballs. His lip curled over his lip like a wolf would when baring teeth. I could feel evil and darkness behind those eyes, making me shriek in fear and begin to thrash underneath him. I’ve never seen those kind of wolf eyes before!

She turned her head again, scanning the blackness in terror. Blood red eyes burst through the black with a sudden flicker of Elika’s eyes, causing her to scream in shock. She reared back, overrun with terror as a shape began to form in the darkness; the face of death himself staring back at her. The dark menacing figure smiled, producing razor-like fangs. She stumbled as the creature laughed, losing her footing on the padded floor. Elika fell back, landing with a deafening thud on the ground. All sound faded from the room as she stared up at the beast, its true face shielded by the darkness.

Slowly, I turn around and find myself staring at the woman that I just denied caring about. She’s trembling. Her mouth is quivering and her face is as pale as a paper. The way how she looks at me tells me that she’s scared for her life and that’s when I notice a big muscular hand wrapped over her waist with a fucking sharp object piercing into her skin. My gaze landed on him before I saw myself seeing eye-to-eye to many wolves around us. Their eyes are not red as an alpha, not blue as the beta, not black as the ordinary wolves. It was something else. Their eyes shone so brightly against the moonlit night, it was like mine. A dark green emerald color eyes, glowing in the dark.

They were lidless, disembodied eyes! Leesa shut down her telekinesis and the eyes stopped moving, hanging suspended ten or twelve inches in front of her now. She felt her own eyes grow wide with surprise and horror as the three pairs of eyeballs fixed their gaze upon her. They were a pale, grayish blue color—the exact same color as Dominic’s eyes! She couldn’t know for sure, but she suspected these eyes had once belonged to the wizards the Necromancer and his black waziri henchmen had murdered. Somehow, the evil mage had trapped them here inside his table. She prayed that Dominic had not suffered a similar fate.
