Silver said, a dark grimoire appeared out of thin air. Silver was really a witch!

His fists clenched so tightly his knuckles turned white, the silver dagger at his belt gleaming in the dim light. Slowly, his gaze dropped to the floor between us. The golden blood was shimmering brighter now, swirling like liquid fire against the grey dirt. The toxic scent of the silver wire the rogue had scratched earlier still lingered in the air, causing my hybrid blood to hiss slightly where it touched the ground.

The moon made an excellent job to illuminate his honeyed eyes, two perfect orbs. It was dark, pitch-black around the forest and the only source of noise were the cockroaches and the many insects that I rather not know about their existence mixed with a loud chewing noise. “Hm, actually, I did you a favor.” Dominic’s tone sent a chill down my spine as my head whipped to his direction. He was sitting down, his back against a tree as he stretched his legs and stuffed his face with Doritos. When he caught my gaze, he grinned like a schoolboy.

Lilith seemed satisfied that we understood, and so turned to face what I assumed was the portal. “The barrier will come down quickly, and once it does, the hunters will know of your presence, you won’t have long until you will be outnumbered.” Lilith gave me a withered look over her shoulder. Pulling out the blood-soaked dagger from her cloak, she held it over her head, she spoke in a ancient language, one that I did not understand. She moved the dagger down in a fluid motion, as if she were cutting into the wards that were keeping me apart from Avalon.

The group and I arrived at the endless expanse of the Green Hills, Shadow looked up to see the skies showing a fleshy-like hue, Shadow turned to see Maria “Shadow, someone is coming and he’s fast” she said. I turned to see a blue hedgehog running towards us but his eyes were flesh-like, telltale signs of Corona’s brainwashing. “Sonic the Hedgehog” I said, Sonic cracked his knuckles “I knew Corona that you would be trouble” said Sonic pointing his finger at me. “Corona doesn’t know that this is my sanctuary, hence she usurped my creational throne” I said. Then Sonic ran “then we fight Inkcanius” said Sonic. “Inkcanius I will back you up, this is how we fought against each other” said Shadow.

We didn't let the darkness win. END OF VOLUME ONE

No weird is that there was a gigantic queen of hearts playing card, holding an equally giant flamingo like a croquet mallet hitting a brightly colored hedgehog curled into a ball. I screamed as she bent over to look at me through her legs. “You don’t belong here. Time to get rid of you before you ruin everything.” She declared before striking the hedgehog with all her might, the poor flamingo’s skull smacking into this creature, sending it rolling through her legs at me.

Larger than anything that should exist. The creature moves with terrifying speed, its black fur almost invisible in the darkness except for the faint silver veins running through it. Its eyes glow golden, burning like fire in the night. A Direwolf. The lead rogue doesn't even have time to scream before the creature is on him. Massive jaws close around his throat, and there's a sickening crunch. Blood sprays across the forest floor, dark and hot. The rogue's body goes limp. The Direwolf tosses him aside like a ragdoll, turning its burning gaze on the remaining rogues.
