Running with Wolves
I’m almost bare by now, only pieces of fabric still cling to my skin, drenched in my drying blood.
I should be screaming by now, gritting my teeth through the pain, but I’m totally numb and I keep pushing forward into the night.
It’s pitchblack around me and I’m moving on instinct. Following the unknown tug my fingers scraped the surface below me and I let them guide me, digging through the snow. I feel some of them break and bleed.
I push myself forward.
And then I’m swallowed by the darkness.
