The shifters inside raised guns, catching the Lotus off guard as silent shots were fired towards them before they shifted into their wolf forms, and Victor figured it must be the rogue serum put into bullets. A few of Victor's people dropped, gripping their chest as they fought the effect, and he hoped the anti-infection injections would fulfill their purpose.

Still, he wasn’t done. With a desperate, shaking hand, he reached toward the soldiers still standing around us. His fingers flicked, and immediately, warriors from his army rushed forward, jumping at me in a last attempt to stop me. “Pathetic.” I shook my head. I didn’t even flinch. The moment they got close, I simply flicked my wrist, and an explosive wave of red flames burst from my body. The soldiers barely had time to scream before they were erased from existence. Their bodies turned to ash before they could even touch me.
