Days of the living Darkness

Days of the living Darkness

the man clenched his fists, "some day, I pray you understand.” Not quite long from then, the Drokan warriors rushed into the second half of Urania unleashing misery on the praying vestiges. BEGINNING OF THE END By the seashore of an Ocean, filled with dark sand staring directly at the setting sun, Elroy opens his eyes to the babbling of the raging waters; beside him sat the fair maiden who rescued him, trying to set up a camp fire. “Nice of you to join the living,” she spoke noticing Elroy's movement.

DARKNESS

DARKNESS

I have only been the head of Darkness for 8 years and I must say that although it was hard for me to get here, I won it on my own merit and my men, those who are in the mansion at least are loyal to me, to the point of offering their lives for me , which I have never asked them to do but they simply feel they have to do it. We are the best on the whole fucking planet at what we do, we are the masters of the mafias, of the terrorist organizations, we are way above all of them, we have ears everywhere, we have people everywhere, but the best are in that mansion, they will not find anyone better than Max for long-distance missions, they will not be able to get information from someone quickly a

The Dark Moon |A Murder

The Dark Moon |A Murder

Luna listened intently, cherishing these moments with her father. ---------------------------- At exactly two in the morning, his eyes snapped open. No sound had woken him, no nightmare haunted his mind—just the same, suffocating weight pressing against his chest. It happened every night. Deep sleep, then sudden awareness, like his body refused to let him rest. With a slow breath, he sat up, running a hand over his face before reaching for the small bottle on his nightstand. He held it between his fingers, debating whether to take the pill or fight through the exhaustion.

A Queen Among Gods

A Queen Among Gods

We watch on as a blast of black energy erupts from Azadou’s body, straight up, swallowing the sun in darkness and plunging the field and the Earth itself into instant darkness. This isn’t the darkness of night; this is like being swallowed by the shadows themselves. Even I can barely see through this darkness. I can hear the sounds of those fighting against the eyti becoming overwhelmed by their force, unable to see what they’re fighting. But the eyti don’t need eyes to seek their prey, they can sniff them out.

Audrey Coulombe
I really like this series! It’s original, hot, well written and we get attached to the characters. There’s so many of them tho that I can’t just read without taking notes ... But it doesn’t change the fact that the book is great! Really liked Gabriella and would like to get more on Derrick!

Hunting for Midnight

Hunting for Midnight

That thought was quickly tossed aside because if that was the case, the noises I made by kicking in a window aloud with my own cries and outburst from dressing my wounds would undoubtedly have been heard. Curled up between the two chairs with my face barely sticking out of my sleeping bag, my eyelids feel weighted with exhaustion and the comfort of finally being warm. The small LED lantern is in the dimmest mode, sitting on the table beside me casting a soft warm light. I usually sleep best in pitch black darkness, but am not brave or crazy enough to sleep without a light turned on while I'm inside this abandoned building at night. The last thing I remember doing before passing out for the n

Her Light and My Darkness

Her Light and My Darkness

" My mother sat frozen on the ground, her gaze empty as she stared at the check. Samuel's silhouette faded away. The blood on my mother's arms and legs had turned to a dark crust. The relentless sun baked her, turning her skin a deep red. Time seemed to stand still until, at last, she stirred. She lowered her head and let out a cry of despair so raw, it echoed the pain of a creature in its final moments. "Yocelyn, how could you have loved a man like that?!" Beneath the harsh sun, I broke out in a cold sweat. My heart ached as I stayed by my mother's side, wishing I could wrap her in my arms and shield her from the world. However, to protect a man like that…

Monster Can Love Too

Monster Can Love Too

And then The lights died. Every lamp, every bulb, every glow snuffed out in a blink. The fire in the hearth snapped once, a sharp pop and then extinguished, plunging the room into sudden black, smoke curling where flames had been. Noa screamed, sound tearing out of him, wild and helpless in the pitch-dark. The iron hissed against stone, dropped from Alessio’s hand, sparks spitting as it clanged and rolled. The dark swallowed everything whole. And in that dark another voice. Calm. Too calm.

Dark of Night

Dark of Night

Dark of Night Copyright 2019 Emily Goodwin Chapter One “What do you see when you look at this one?” The doctor holds up a card, showcasing an ink splotch that’s twisted and creepy, with eyes that follow you no matter where you go. I look at it, heart hammering away inside my chest. The mess of ink on the white paper reminds me of the monster that lurks in Nana and Papa’s basement, the one that tried to get Abby and Scott to go downstairs with it.
