Alison’s POV Darkness wasn’t just the absence of light; it was an endless void. It felt like being submerged in a deep, inky ocean, weightless but suffocating. I had no sense of time, no idea if hours or days had passed. Sometimes, I thought I could hear faint echoes of voices, distorted like sounds traveling through water. They were fragments, disjointed and fleeting, but enough to make me desperate to respond. My mind screamed for my body to move, for my lips to part, but nothing happened. I was trapped in this abyss, locked within myself.

Parking slot of an old house Alexandra found she was tied up in a dark room. Her eyes could see only dark, not sure if she was blindfolded or it was really nothing but darkness. Actually she was feeling numb all over her body, almost like an unconscious person. She didn't know what was going on. But one thing she knew for sure, she was drugged.

But I didn't hear any answer from him until I got tired. I sat up while hugging the legs. Too dark in here and I feel like darkness is swallowing me. I can't breathe, I can't feel my body. It was as if darkness was swallowing my breath. I can't take it, I wanted to scream, but not even a single voice came out of my mouth. I feel my body numb, my eyes wanted to close. But I'm afraid to turn a blind eye because I feel like when I close my eye, I might never wake up.

It was so dark that people couldn't watch their hands. It was as if they had entered a period of primal chaos. There would no longer be any light in the world. The starlight, moonlight, and sunlight had all disappeared. The world was in deep slumber. The boundless darkness swallowed everything. Darkness, depression, and panic were enough to drive people crazy. In addition, the world was dormant, and everything was still. Everyone could only hear their hearts beating. To everyone, it was as if they were the only ones left in this world. They felt lonely and sorrowful. All kinds of emotions made them want to roar.

The darkness swallowed me whole. I found myself in a place that felt both familiar and foreign, like a dreamscape pulled from the depths of my subconscious. The ground beneath me was soft, almost like beach sand, yet the vast emptiness around me reminded me of a desert. The sky above was a muted gray, and the horizon stretched endlessly in every direction. There was no sound, no wind, just an oppressive stillness that made my skin crawl.

My body is tired and aches because of sitting for such a long time. I look around me and don’t see anything. There is darkness all around me. I had found the door with quite a difficulty. I feel like I have become blind. This darkness has started to creep me out. The never-ending silence is making me insane. I want to hear the voice of someone else. I am sick and tired of this loneliness. This loneliness is eating me from the inside.

The air felt heavy and stagnant, almost as if it was pressing down on me with some kind of malevolent intent. I couldn't see a thing, but I could hear my own rapid breathing and the pounding of my heart in my chest. Every step felt like a journey into the unknown, as if the darkness was swallowing up my footfalls and erasing my presence from the world. It was a strange kind of darkness, one that seemed to have a life of its own. I felt as if I was wading through a sea of shadow, with tendrils of blackness wrapping around my legs and tugging me down. My skin prickled with goosebumps, and I couldn't shake the feeling that something was watching me from the depths of the darkness.

I feel it reducing the too-heavy weight on my soul that was making it hard for me to breathe, though only a little. Two floors below ground, light can’t find its way into the room. For the first time I see what pure darkness is like. It’s not heavy. It’s a lightness you can’t bear. It’s such a void that you feel lost even though you can touch and feel and smell and hear. But there isn’t anything to hear, to smell, to feel. You are all alone, floating when your body is bound to the ground. You exist, but that’s all you are. Existing without anything else to grab on. Fear is the first thing to kick in. I think I heard mice so often that I no longer trust my ears.

My ears seemed block with a whistling sound on repeat mode. DARKNESS Darkness can be measured by the absence of light, Things vanish in presence of its sight. It's a feeling of not knowing your surroundings, cannot seeing the color they hold, When your eyes seem dead and senses feel cold. It is frightening when you cannot hear the chirping of insects or tick-tock of a clock, People fear it's presence yet, it holds a place in one's heart. We hide it behind, covering it with light, Even the sun hide behind darkness when it's the night.

The ground beneath my feet seemed to shift as his words sunk in. Before I could process what he meant, a sudden wave of dizziness hit me like a hammer. My vision blurred for a moment, and when it cleared, everything around me seemed…darker, as though the world had been plunged into shadow. “What…?” I gasped, my voice barely audible. I swayed on my feet, fighting to stay upright. “You feel it, don’t you?” Donovan said, his voice dripping with satisfaction. “That’s the darkness reaching out to you, Cheryl. It’s been waiting for you.”
