I can no longer hear the voices of my family, can no longer feel the mattress beneath my knees or the air moving through the room. I'm falling through layers of darkness, each one deeper and colder than the last, until I find myself standing in a place that's not really a place at all. It's dark here, darker than anything I've ever experienced, but somehow I can still see. It's like the darkness itself is a living thing, pressing against me from all sides, trying to smother me. I'm in what looks like a vast empty space, with no walls or ceiling or floor that I can make out.

Like it was pressing in from every directio thick, suffocating erasing the shape of the room, swallowing distance, swallowing anything that felt certain. When Emily opened her eyes she saw everything was dark. A small dirty room, the window is pinned closed and there is only a small source of light through the door cracks. The pungent smell of this room makes her nauseous. She tried to recalled what happened earlier? When she is talking to Ryan she saw someone bumped into her car. She halted and go out of the car to check on that lady if she is fine or not but before she asks anything from that lady someone hits her head which makes her lose her consciousness then she didn't know what happened afterwards. She still tried to recall the person who suddenly jumped in front of her and what happened afterwards but she couldn't remember anything. E

I sit there, a prisoner in my own mind, trapped in this dark, desolate realm. The world around me is shrouded in perpetual darkness, punctuated only by the occasional flicker of an unseen flame. Black smoke curls and writhes around me, a fucking sinister, malevolent presence. I feel empty, hollow, like a shell without a soul. There is no light here, no hope, no escape.

If only he could stretch his hand out of the looming darkness and rejoin them… The darkness continued to swirl like a body of smoke in the dead of the night. He was walking but he wasn’t feeling the ground. He was moving but he felt like he had been in the same place the whole time. His eyes were open but it wouldn’t make a difference if he were blind… in a place as dark and sad as this.

She wanted any semblance just to know she's not going deeper into the darknes, just so she could find an evidence that she's still there and it's just a simple blackout. Darkness has a strong impact on her. Whenever there's darkness, she feels like suddenly something has been taken away from her, she felt as if she's in some kind of void and that feeling always terrified her. It makes her want to shout and just run to but she could not get her body to comply to her command. Her body sat still frozen there. Tears welled up in her eyes and in a few seconds, they started flowing down her cheeks but still no sound came out of her mouth.

Darkness everywhere is darkness. I can’t see due to the darkness surrounding me. I don’t know where I am but I want to come out of this darkness. I feel suffocated in dark. There is nothing around me, no light, no door, no street nothing just darkness. It is worse than my nightmares. My nightmares are consist of my demons and the places which haunt me but now it is like my demons too left me alone to my insanity. I tried searching for anything to hold or move forward but I am unable to move forward. My hands are glued to my sides and my legs feel heavy. My eyes are the only organs that are moving.

Darkness was the first thing Cassie felt. Not the peaceful kind that came with sleep. Not the familiar darkness of closing her eyes at night with Nikolai’s steady breathing beside her, with the quiet assurance that the world, no matter how cruel, was held at bay by his presence. This darkness was different. It was thick, suffocating, and alive. It pressed against her chest like an invisible weight, coiling around her lungs until every attempt at breathing felt labored, wrong, painful.

*Pryce Winsley's POV* --- Darkness. Darkness is all I see around me. It envelops my whole being to the point that I feel like I am part of it. I don't feel anything, and I can't feel anything around me. Not even my own body, no matter how hard I try to touch anything. Where am I? Why am I unable to see? Have I not opened my eyes? I think I did. Am I in somebody's room where the lights are off? Where is everybody, anyway?
