Dasher

Dasher

it was almost night time. Standing right in front of the matte black mansion, they made a plan. The door is pushed open and Maddox stepped in with his sister and a cousin, Caden. Sasha appeared out of nowhere. "Welcome...Maddox Dasher..." she said in an elongated sentence. "Is he here?" Maddox became all unaware. Sasha knitted her eyebrows in confusion and asked, "Are you not Maddox Dasher?" "Do I look like that asshole to you?" he faked an aggressive face.

THE LABYRINTH

THE LABYRINTH

The Labyrinth – Exit Cave Tunnel– Night The labyrinth shook beneath their feet as they ran, the ancient structure groaning like a dying beast. Rocks tumbled from above, and walls split open in bursts of sand and dust. Each step was a gamble—loose rubble, hidden crevices, sudden collapses threatening to swallow them whole. Their torches cut narrow cones of light through the pitch-black tunnel, flickering wildly with every tremor. Boots scraped against damp stone as they dodged debris, breath ragged with fear and adrenaline. Ahead, the faint sound of dripping echoed through the corridor—slow, deliberate, like the cavern itself was counting down to its last breath. They halted at a crossroads i

Shadow Hunter

Shadow Hunter

she said, finding my confused gaze again. "Aaron? But their nests are impossible to find. Not unless... light have mercy," I said, feeling like I'd been punched in the chest. "We're gonna go," Lills mumbled, getting to her feet. I nodded, too lost for words to find the one's that would make her stay. Scorchers were dangerous, a militia that stood outside the rules and laws the rest of us lived by. They were those who'd committed their lives to the destruction of every non human creature beyond the borders of the Diarna, the furthest mining town in the south. They married their work and bred for numbers. They were smart, strong and loyal to a fault and would rather see our entire world blaze

Born To Race, Bred To Fall

Born To Race, Bred To Fall

"Welcome to the Gauntlet Run. Racers will navigate a three-mile course through the Ravine Sector. Only the top four finishers advance. The rest are disqualified." Disqualified. Such a clean word for what really happened. The course map appeared on the screens. Narrow pathways, collapsing bridges, and a stretch called the Killing Floor where the path split into three routes. According to Ash's intel, only one route was safe. The other two led straight into traps designed to look like accidents. I touched my helmet, feeling the tiny camera Juno had installed. It was active. Recording. "Racers, take your positions." I moved to the starting line. A girl next to me was shaking so badly I could he

A Symphony of Frost and Flame

A Symphony of Frost and Flame

She passed by pillars after pillars as she ran on the brick path, while still hearing the yells and curses of the hunters tailing her. She found the road going down towards the entrance of the underground dungeon. As she took the path down, she could already hear the sound of the wild river. Her legs grew tired and numb from running continuously for a long time. It’s slowing her down. Just a little more … Larice exerted all her muscles to work together until she finally saw the wide entrance of the tunnel down below. Two metal cages were parked outside, which she recognized to be from Raeherys and Fetyr. The strong current of the river flowed violently beside the entrance to the dungeon.

A slow start, but I understand because the characters and the world needs to be established well. And you did! I'm so so so glad I continued reading since the book really has a very strong middle. So many plot twists! And what I love the most is the magic system! Wew. Great job!

Now this is an epic dragon story I'm looking for! Unlike other stories, you've given your dragons their own culture, government system, livelihood, religion ... we even got a map! You're such an awesome author. PS. I also loved your book Reclaim the Ice Crown. Great job!

THE ALPHA TRIALS

THE ALPHA TRIALS

“You will face illusions. Regrets. Temptation. If your will breaks… the maze will never let you leave.” The doors groaned open behind him. Thick, purple-tinged mist rolled into the hall, curling like fingers across the floor. One by one, the contestants were called forward. Cassian walked through without hesitation. Lucien followed, silent and cold. Ava’s name was called next. Her heart pounded. She looked once over her shoulder. Still no sign of Darius. Then she stepped into the smoke. —INSIDE THE MAZE The mist swallowed her whole.

Moonlight Pact

Moonlight Pact

Maya was at my shoulder, eyes sharp, fear compressed into something focused. “You’re not staying behind,” she said. “I wasn’t planning to.” She nodded once. Good. We ran. The ridge opened into a clearing—and there it was. Not Darius. Never Darius. A construct. Wrong-shaped. Borrowed movement. Too many joints doing too much work. It lunged. I shifted mid-stride. The impact shook the ground. Behind me, Maya didn’t scream. She shouted. “ROWAN, LEFT.” I went left. Teeth closed on nothing where my neck had been a heartbeat earlier.

Ashes to Desire

Ashes to Desire

We crashed through the tunnels like hunted animals, our footfalls echoing off damp concrete walls that seemed to close in with every step. My lungs burned, but not as badly as the mark on my forearm, a constant reminder of debts unpaid and promises broken. Ember's flame-red hair flickered ahead of me in the dim light, a beacon I couldn't afford to lose sight of, not now when Dain's men were breathing down our necks. The tunnel forked ahead. I grabbed Ember's elbow, steering her right without breaking stride. Lena followed, her footsteps nearly silent compared to our desperate scramble. The woman moved like a shadow, something I'd have appreciated if we weren't running for our lives.

The Alpha's Triangle

The Alpha's Triangle

“I might know someone who can help, but I don’t want to leave you here.” “Well, that’s not smart,” she laughed. “If Nas finds you here, it will only get us both killed. Find this person and bring them here. I can instruct them on what to do.” “I had to knock out a guard, so coming back is going to be a bit difficult,” I said, looking back at the unconscious guard. “Look in my dresser over there,” Mirja said, indicating to a corner where the dresser was. “There’s a purple necklace with an M carved into it. It’s connected to me. When you’re near anything reflective, touch it with this rune, which will transport you to me.”

Roza
Hate the fact that she ends up with Isaiah. You should've killed Isaiah instead of James. Zira deserved her true happily ever after! Making them second chance mates is just throwing salt on the wounds of Zira. Basically she went through that crap for nothing, since she ends up right where she starts

I enjoyed this book, I was so glad I was able to read the second part on a different app so that I could see how the story ended for Zira and James. I figured they would end up together because felt hints of a spark, not to mention even when fated to others they still loved each other.

Ashes Before Dawn

Ashes Before Dawn

Their voices grew fainter and fainter until Joshua could no longer hear anything at all. Meanwhile, aboard a flight to Francoria, Yara slept peacefully against the window. Cassius was about to drape a blanket over her when she slowly opened her sleepy eyes. "You're awake. Did you sleep well?" Yara smiled and stretched lazily. "I've finally gotten my revenge. I don't think I've ever slept this peacefully before." Cassius smiled. "Yeah. I heard Joshua's legs were too badly damaged to save. They had to amputate both of them. He'll be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
