His Unbeloved Queen

His Unbeloved Queen

-Katherine- My Dearest Katherine, The battle did not unfold as I had hoped. We underestimated our enemy, believing they were few in number and engaged in fighting among themselves. How wrong we were. They stand united, skilled in combat, and remarkably resilient. Though they may appear barbaric, they are far from it. They are clever—far more clever than I ever anticipated. Now, I find myself at a loss. I fear for my own safety and that of my men. Their doubt weighs heavily on me, and I dread the thought of failing to protect them. Each life lost demands a scapegoat, and I’m that target. I will bear this burden willingly if only I knew how to save the rest. Yet, I am uncertain if victory in t

She is Strong
09-24-23: 80 chapters in and it's still just as good as the beginning! I find long books hard to keep my attention, but I eagerly wait for updates on this one! Definitely NOT a disappointing read thus far. Different & fabulous story!

The Queen's War (Book one of The Mafia Throne)

The Queen's War (Book one of The Mafia Throne)

"Soon you'll understand what it feels like to lose everything. To have the people you trust become your enemies. To watch your world crumble." He picked up the photograph, studying Dante's young face. "You tried to bury me. But you forgot the most important lesson we learned together." His fingers traced the edge. "Dead men tell no tales. But ghosts? Ghosts come back to haunt you." Somewhere out there, Dante was probably holding Arabelle. Probably feeling safe. Probably forgetting that the most dangerous enemies aren't the ones you know about. They're the ones you've already left for dead. "Sweet dreams, brother."

Dear Enemy, You're My Mate

Dear Enemy, You're My Mate

My friend is sadder, more rugged, and broken with a darkness in his eyes, yet he is kind. "Caring about my well-being, are we?" His grin is quick and broad. "Well," I shrug and feel my lips straining to compete for the biggest smile in the room. "We are friends, aren't we?" "True," Dior sighs heavily. "I don't think I should tell you too much about the council yet, but after June is dealt with, the council will be your next enemy—make no mistake." "And why is that?" Dior hums. "The council seeks power and destroys anyone who might be a potential threat to them in the future. I have committed no crimes in a long time, but I'm from the shadow realm—they don't like that."

Tanya Barkhouse
I started reading it on another app and when authored moved to this app I followed solely for this novel. The development of the characters and storyline keeps you engaged. I look forward to finishing the novel but will be sad when it’s finished.

The author has a very vivid imagination. I couldn't stop reading until the finish. I will say I might make a couple changes to the story if I could but overall one of the most original and enjoyable books I've read on the platform.

Mated to the Enemy

Mated to the Enemy

His head tilted slightly, returning to papers. "Did anyone tell you? You're cruel," I said exasperatedly. He chuckled, "Yes, I heard it from the pretty mouth of my mate, just right now," "I'm not your mate. You're my enemy." I told him for the first time. He was terrifying me. I shouldn't forget that he was my enemy. His father killed my father. "I didn't kill your father, love. You must have heard the rumors about me, they are true." He said without lifting his gaze to me.

My enemy's daughter

Author intervenes, taking the speech. "Then I'm going to send you both out of the country, just until things cool down. Your mother needs you, honey. Can I count on your help?" His words come out sweet, but I feel the bitter in my mouth. He notices my indecision, so he comes over and kisses my hair in a fatherly gesture. " We have many enemies, they will try in every way to attack us, princess. Make no mistake, my enemies are your enemies." she says, implying once again that Henrico is behind this whole thing, that he's using me.

Living with the enemy

Living with the enemy

He spoke to me like he was talking to a little girl. I nodded, feeling my lower lip tremble. “You’re mean,” I pouted. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to the beach, and when I get back, I want to see my room normal again. We’re enemies here, I get it, but outside, it’ll be like we’re the best friends in the world.” I patted his shoulder. “I don’t see you as my enemy, Amanda. You see me as a threat because of everything with the trial, I know, but I’m just trying to do the right thing,” he said seriously.

His Sworn Enemy; His Deepest Desire

His Sworn Enemy; His Deepest Desire

William Tristan Richmond. His name alone was enough to light a firestorm of memories—each one more infuriating than the last. I stared at him, disbelief warring with the deep-seated anger that surged through me like poison. Of all the people to run into, of all the places in the world, why did it have to be him? He was Caleb's older brother, and my sworn freaking enemy.

Mated To My Enemy's Enemy

Mated To My Enemy's Enemy

Logan stood up from the chair he was sitting on and was about to follow her when suddenly alpha Dickson blocked his way. “Longest time, Logan." Alpha Dickson said, with a smile plastered on his face. “Same here, Dickson." Logan replied, making alpha tilted his head to his insolence. Logan wasn't a man to respect anyone, other than his grandfather and others who he thought needed respect. “I wonder what you are doing here, it's really not your thing to attend your non people's ceremony without causing anything trouble." Dickson said, and immediately Logan could understand what he meant by his non people, that is, his enemy.

The Scam Called Love

I replied, sipping my wine. “Exactly,” she confirmed. I smiled and ended the call. A cold shower was next, and then I drifted off to sleep like a baby. They say revenge only brings pain, but I knew that was a myth. Watching my enemies realize they were about to go down was a checkmate.
